I think it'd be funny to have Lena make friends with all the blonde cheerleaders since they're the ones who tormented her and she needs to see that on the whole they're not all carbon copies. She's seventeen, can relate with the way overprotective father figure thing, and has magic coming out her ears so she could possibly be protective (or destruction since she doesn't have the greatest handle on those powers). :3
