I. Welcome to Wonderland! Seconds ago you were surrounded by the things you know, but now you may find yourself standing on a strange beach. And you may find yourself in another part of another world. And you may find yourself within the shadow of a large mansion. And you may find yourself in a beautiful room, with a completely useless introductory brochure. And you may ask yourself: Well... how did I get here? II. Lose yourself to find yourself It's another day in Wonderland, and another event has come around. For its duration everyone has been turned into a stereotypical ghost. Disembodiment, translucency, and all it entails! Have fun moving through objects and walls, because actually touching a door (or interacting with any other physical objects for that matter)? Not going to happen. III. Mirror, Mirror, On The March Aren't you excited? Aren't you thrilled? The Queen of Hearts has chosen you amongst a mere handful, and sent you off to the other side. Whether you infiltrate quietly, or barge in boldly is entirely up to you. Her Majesty has faith in your skill, she knows you will retrieve her treasured Shield from that bothersome Red Queen and her hideous Reals. You will, won't you? You really mustn't disappoint your Queen, or else... OR ELSE. IV. Wildcard Play out your character's arrival. Celebrate their anniversary. Choose a different event to experience. Suppose we'll have to, considering he's... [ Pause. ] Well, if I'm to believe what I heard, he's come from a time before V-Voldemort returned completely. He's--he hasn't even started our second year!

[ She's going to have so much spellwork to get him caught up on. ]

( Did Harry go back in time? She didn't know that Time Turners could go back that far - it could be very dangerous if it happened. Luna also hasn't heard of any creature that could do something like it )

Have you checked that it's Harry? Maybe someone used an old hair in a potion.

( Like three years old hair. That sounds like it could turn them in to a very young Harry )

It's him. Trust me. I thought he was pulling something to have a laugh at first, but. [ Huff. ] It seems this place has the ability to pull people from different points in time. It's all rather maddening, if you ask me.

Besides, I don't know how anyone could get a hair that old, let alone think it was a good idea to try being the younger him.

I'm sure they had a reason. ( PAUSE ) Maybe to confuse us. We'd want to protect Harry.

( Especially a mysteriously younger one. It would be instinctual since he wouldn't know everything that they knew anymore - especially if You Know Who was back. It would probably be easier for You Know Who to go attack him if Harry couldn't defend himself so well )

We should do that. It could be dangerous but I'm not worried.

( You Know Who was very dangerous but they had had success before. Harry had been there to help them then but she was confident in everything that they'd learned from him. He'd been a very good teacher )

[ Hermione frowns a bit. That's a very logical conclusion coming from someone known for the illogical. ]

Er, well, regardless, we're likely to be here for a long time. Or, if I'm to believe what I've heard, until this world decides to let us go. And honestly, I'd rather take my chances protecting Harry than not.

There's no reason to detract from how happy she is to see him, and she gives him another tight squeeze before she lets go, enough that they can converse, although she doesn't go far, one arm still slung loosely around his shoulders. Much like she's the little sister he never had, Ash had been the one to make her feel like she wasn't an only child after all. Closest thing she'd ever had to a brother until this place.]

You might need a beer or two in you in order to believe me, but I guess if anyone was gonna take this kind of thing on faith, it'd be you. You've looked into alternate dimensions, right?

[She knows he's looked into all kinds of things most hunters never bothered with.]

( Lydia could remember how it had felt when she'd arrived, and although she'd not found it as easy to accept when she'd arrived as she would have done if she'd been in the know about 'strange' things that possibly made it all the more overwhelming. So she definitely understood how long Hermione felt )

But if you're looking for answers in these books about this place you won't find any. It's what everyone tries. I could point you to Alice in Wonderland, it's the closest thing to an answer you'll get.

Peculiar is relative, and not always worth the effort it takes to parse out. Time seems to be here as well, though we perceive it as normal.

You won't age while you're here at the very least.

[He sounds a little suspicious, but...definitely curious. You'd think he could use that complete knowledge of everything to get literally anything without any help.]

the Outsider wasn't sure it was possible for him to be washed up anywhere, in any place whatsoever. to lose awareness of himself and his surroundings isn't exactly normal for the closest thing to a god that has ever existed in his world. and yet here he is, rising from salt and sand, feeling himself smile at the novelty of it.

any residents of wonderland within earshot may hear whales just off the coast, but none can be seen actually breaking the surface.

he will stay at the beach for a while, leaving footprints like a human might while he feels out what limitations this place has placed upon him, and his connection to the Void. also just watching the sea, honestly. it's different from home. he will eventually wander into the mansion, still dripping seawater and leaving footprints on floorboards and carpets, looking around with calm curiosity. ... and entirely black eyes, but nobody has ever found that alarming, right?

anyone who might be able to can easily sense a great deal of power from this "young man", but anybody with eyes can see the way shadows behave oddly around him. one does not easily contain a god, after all. ]

[ The device flips on by itself. It's not Archer that controls it. It's seated on a deck chair by the pool facing Archer's deck chair. Archer is no longer passed out and the robe he's in is open revealing him in just obscenely tight swim trunks. He's got a pair of sunglasses on despite being indoors. He looks like he's struggling to function. ]

Are you fucking kidding me?

[ Not the first time he's blacked out and woken up in a deck chair with a glass of Glengoolie Black and very little clothing. His hair is a wreck and after running a hand through it he's pretty sure three gummy bears just fell onto the ground. ]

Lana. Lana. Lana. LANA! LANAAAAAAAA! [ Archer stops screaming her name after two full minutes. He takes a breath and then takes a sip of his Scotch. A sip turns into sucking the rest of the contents of his glass down though. He reaches to put the glass on the ground next to his deck chair and nudges into a bottle of Glengoolie Black. Or what he assumes is. He grabs it by the neck and climbs to his feet. ] Oh this is just perfect. Mother is gonna love this. Pam! Pam, so help me God if you drugged me again--

[ It another four minutes for Archer to notice the device. He reaches out to grab it and lifts up close to his face. He pushes his sunglasses up onto his forehead and peers at it. ]

Krieger, this stopped being funny the first three times! Where the hell am I and why are my balls numb? What'd you do to me? [ He takes a swig from the bottle. ] Where're my pants, you idiot?

[It's only when she's particularly bored that Meg skims through the new arrivals. She's lounging on the chaise in her room when she comes across this particular entry and she just has to laugh. Who the fuck is this guy?]

Your friends sound like a friggin' blast. [She smirks and tucks one knee up underneath her chin] And you're in Wonderland, but that probably isn't their fault.

[ At first Archer doesn't respond. He just stares at her. Because sometimes they're a blast, but most of the time they're incompetent idiots who get him shot way too much. It's in no way his fault ever either. Idiots. ]

Wonderland? Like Alice in Wonderland? [ Cue a four minute laugh from Archer because he's pretty sure someone got into the LSD a little too hard. ] Okay. A--even if I believed you why the fuck would I be in Wonderland? B--it's always their fault. 3--shit. No. C--I don't actually have a C. Basically it's just A and B.
