[Lucky spots him before Emma does. Their walk had been uneventful thus far, but suddenly she feels the leash being pulled out of her hand as the dalmatian takes off at a run, full-tilt, unexpected and leaving her standing confused in his wake as he starts barking incessantly, heading off towards the hedge maze. She's had him long enough now to know that he's discovered someone or something new, opted to chase something unfamiliar and leave his owner in the dust, and she sighs heavily as she lets both hands come to rest on her hips, tilting her head back to look skywards.]
Really? Come on, Lucky, aren't you ever going to grow out of this?
[She grimaces as she takes off after him at a decent clip, walking quickly rather than running after him, rounding the corner towards the entrance of the hedge maze. She hadn't known who or what she'd find there-- but she hadn't been expecting a familiar face, and she folds her arms over her chest even as Lucky trots back to her, raising an eyebrow.]
