Well, that's absolutely not the response she's anticipating. He...doesn't know her? But he's been here the entire time, there's no way he doesn't know. It makes no sense. And Carolina knows full well that Epsilon wouldn't pull some stupid joke like this on her. Which leaves her stumped and confused, staring at the armoured figure silently for a few moments. Until it hits her.
"You're... not Epsilon, are you?" She finally asks, standing a little straighter now. This is officially weird. Maybe even minorly awkward. She never met Alpha, but she is aware of what happened to him and where he was sent after Freelancer. If this guy is answering to Church and not knowing who she is, this is the best conclusion she can come to.
"I'm Carolina," she goes on, as though that might jog his memory. Even though she knows full well that he doesn't have any. "Agent Carolina of Project Freelancer."
