library. [ Erin doesn't know what this place is or what she's doing here.
Well. That's not entirely true, actually. She's gathered that she's in a library, a grand, old one, not unlike the one in New York City. It's bigger though, and not nearly as well-organized. Erin would know, because she can't find the book she needs, and she's been searching for hours.
At first, she thought she was pulled in by some kind of portal -- but this isn't anything like the portal she went through trying to rescue Abby. But this library is impossibly large, too large for her home dimension. But she doesn't know for sure, can't know for sure, because none of the books will tell her.
So by now, Erin is two steps away from fully panicking. She's sitting on the floor of the library with countless books strewn around her. She's paging through one now, urgently, and only stops when she hears the sound of footsteps. She looks up, desperate. ]
Oh -- hi -- hello, yes, I'm Erin Gilbert, do you know where we are? Besides a library, of course, I know that. But where's this library? Have you heard of Earth? Have you seen Abby or Holtzmann or Patty?
[ Okay, so she's rambling. Give her a break. It's been a tough day. ]
