violet baudelaire | a series of unfortunate events (books)

ENTRANCE HALL
[ there are many worthy pursuits one may take on a winter afternoon, such as a rousing snowball fight or sledding. violet, however, has no friends nor siblings with whom she could have a snowball fight and no sled besides.

so she's decided to make one with heart, despite her loneliness and grief. a warm winter coat, gloves, a scarf, and a full set of tools and numerous wooden boards next to her, violet is curled up before the stairs and working diligently away to create the fastest sled she possibly can.
]

NETWORK
[ violet has little reason to trust anyone or anything even remotely network-related. this is because all the adults in her life and all the communication devices she has used in desperate and earnest attempts to contact all the adults in her life have done no good. it is not because she doesn't trust the capability and efficiency of her network device, though under different circumstances she would delight in considering how it works, taking it apart, and putting it back together again, hopefully with interesting and helpful additions to its hardware.

no, the network seems just fine, but it is full of people, and lately people in large groups have not been the greatest friends to her or her siblings.

however, no matter how bright she may be, she cannot hope to find them alone.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has seen a little girl. She's an infant and [ violet pauses in typing her message there to fight back tears ] her name is Sunny. She has four very sharp teeth and likes to cook.

My brother Klaus might also be here. He's thirteen and he wears glasses. He's a very fine researcher. Please. I'm supposed to take care of them.

Thank you.
