[It's a moment of disbelief that passes as Mettaton stares at this humanoid monster. What did he say? Dead? Possession?

Finally he gets enough presence of mind to respond and he is not happy.]

I am not possessing this, this is my body! And I am not dead! Quit saying I am dead! I am very much alive, thank you!

[He's still partially stuck on the "dead" part, which is helping keep the existential dread from sinking in just yet.]
