[For as long as Jason could remember, there'd been someone around to tell him what comes next. There was always some kind of structure. when it was sports, there was a coach. There were practices. There was a schedule full of school and structure and homework. When it was the Rangers, there was training. There was danger and threats and survival. The goals were clear. In Wonderland, it's not like that at all. Nobody seems to know what to do or how to fix it. They're not prepping for a battle. They're just trying to stay alive long enough to get home. Jason figures he can at least help with that last part.
That's what keeps him training. He gets up just before the sun for weight training in the gym, hoping that it's early enough that nobody will have too many questions about why there's a teenager benchpressing several tons. (Though he is curious about how easy it was to find ten-ton barbells already lying around the space) By mid-morning, he'll be at the beach, with cones set up for agility drills. There's no immediate emergency, but that doesn't mean there won't be soon.
After a morning full of training, he'll settle into the kitchen, where he'll set to eating absolutely everything. Superhuman exertion combined with a normal teenager's metabolism means that no snack is safe.]

So I spend my whole life dreaming about getting out of a small town only to move into a place that's even smaller. I'm pretty sure that's irony.
