Why? Why does his dad have to be such a good person? Why does he have to come find the person hurting? Why does he have to care? Why can't he just ignore him for once? Asriel knows he can't escape now. He hears the footsteps coming closer. He has no choice now. He has to say something. But what can he say?

"S-Stay away!" He cries out finally. He stops moving and tries to catch his breath and think. Asriel slowly stands up with his back to Asgore. Slowly he turns around and looks at the large goat monster that is his father. He sniffles as he stares at him.

"...I'm sorry. I...I'm sorry Dad." For everything. For killing you. For letting you kill yourself. For not being a good son when he was a flower. For all the resets. For calling him names. For not loving him.

"I'm so sorry!" He starts sobbing.
