[Nora had worn blue and gold when she arrived too, but it was the bright shades of a VaultTec jumpsuit rather than the Continental uniform in which Ben is clad. She's seated at the bar as he walks in, one leg crossed over the other and a still half full beer bottle on the bartop in front of her. Glancing over, she's a little amused to see the uniform - it's one of the first things she's recognised here as having meaning back in her own world.]

Nice outfit. You could pass for one of the original Minutemen in that.

[Ben tries his best not to do a double take at the woman's style of clothing, as well as the fact that she's sat at the bar as a patron would be with a bottle in hand.

It's more difficult not to be the slightest bit incredulous at her comment, but in response he simply--and carefully--places his helmet on the countertop so it's in plain sight. He then lefts himself off the stool and gives her a bow of his head.]

A good day to you, madam. [He isn't sure if he ought to offer his name just yet, so he simply adds:]

This is the uniform of the 2nd Continental Light Dragoons. It is a pleasure.

[She bows her head slightly in return, thinking his manners quite a change from the roughness of the people of the Commonwealth. It's refreshing, but rather novel too.]

Continental Light Dragoons. [She repeats, thinking there would surely be information about them in the museum at Lexington.] You some sort of reenactor? You've certainly pulled out all the stops.

[It would be difficult for Ben to politely describe the incredulity he's feeling, but it's evident enough in his expression.]

You believe this isn't real? [He gestures at himself; his dirty boots, his grass and dirt stained waistcoat and lapels. Madam, you have insulted him. Fortunately for them both, Ben is not a man of ill temper. On better days he might have taken it as a joke, honestly.]

I can assure you I am a soldier and this is no costume.
