[ As soon as he'd found Jason in Wonderland, Billy had started following him around like a lost puppy. Or a lost Ranger, whichever. What that means is that he's there on the beach for agility drills, even though he complains about it. ]

So, um. Why are we doing this? There's no Zeo crystal here, is there?

[stereotypicaljock]

[He doesn't mind having Billy around for company, actually. It makes him feel better when his team is close, particularly when they're so often in need of protection. It's better for Billy to be in his sight than out of it. Jason's got a better chance at protecting him that way.

He's crouched opposite Billy then, keeping an eye on his budding footwork and correcting the most egregious of mistakes. Billy's not one for natural talent, but that's something that can be remedied in time.]

Nope. But people keep talking about how dangerous this place can get. If we stay ready, we'll be able to help everyone when things get hard.

[cranston]

[ He's trying. It's just that the physical stuff doesn't come easy to him like it does to Jason. It's not his focus, never really has been. Sure, he's strong now. Like, super strong. But he doesn't know what to do with that strength. ]

But the Zords aren't here. We can't-- Can we even connect to the morphing grid here?

[stereotypicaljock]

If we can't morph here, then it's going to hurt a hell of a lot more when something's trying to punch us.

[It's something he's considered. That's just more reason to train.]

[cranston]

Yeah, okay, but-- [ He hesitates, pausing in his movements as he tries to think of a rebuttal. He can't. ] Yeah, okay.

[ He starts moving again, lifting his feet higher, ducking and weaving faster. Jason's right, he's got to be ready. ]

[stereotypicaljock]

Just push through for a little while longer, okay? You've only got a few more reps.

[He's got so much heart it makes up for everything else.]

[cranston]

[ He huffs and puffs his way through the last few reps, feeling absolutely exhausted, but cheered on by Jason's encouragement. When he finishes his last rep, he punches the air with both hands and cries out, ] WOOO!!!

[stereotypicaljock]

[Jason grins at Billy's enthusiasm.]

See, man? I told you that you had it in you. You can do anything you put your mind to. And I've never met anyone with a bigger mind than yours.

[cranston]

[ Billy rolls his eyes. ] You haven't met very many people.
