I wouldn't say I love it here or that it super reminds me of home, but...the magic is about the same and...weird things happen just about as often. So actually, maybe...yeah.

[ That's said a little more sheepishly. ]

But I can try to help if you have any questions. I've been here a couple of years now.

I don't think I've ever seen live magic outside of second grade birthday parties. [And a month ago, he probably would have laughed at the idea of it existing at all. It's been a really weird couple of weeks.] I guess the real stuff is a little more involved than just pulling rabbits out of places that didn't have rabbits in them beforehand.

Yeah...there's kind of a whole 'all magic comes with a price' rule. But at least in this place instead of pulling out a rabbit from the closet, you can pull out food and clothes and basically anything else you want. I mean, that's pretty awesome.

[ Not awesome is Wonderland itself and how many times it tries to kill them all per month but. Whatever. ]

[ Well that's not at all ominous. ]

When you say "price", I'm guessing that you aren't talking about getting a summer job to pay Wonderland back for the free room.

This place throws stuff at us every few weeks. It likes to try and kill us, and people die, but people also don't stay dead. I'm sorry, I know it's kind of a lot, and maybe you already know most of this.
