this is a random way to start my love letter to you, but it remains true.

we'd already been friends when you decided to app eway. we'd already had so many real conversations, within and outside of our writing hobby. but i don't think that friendship really deepened to this degree until eway, when we began to see more of each other and began to talk even more than we already did. it's been beautiful to be to have that with you. i'm glad you feel you can share your threads with me and vice versa, because reading (on top of playing with!) your character has been, as damon salvatore would say, one hell of a ride. you're a lover of books and it really and truly shows in your writing, which remains my favorite. have a westallen icon bc my love for you is as pure as theirs. ♥

I have a lot of crystal-shaped feelings and I think that's because you're really cool and I like you a lot? Not least of all because I have been a FULL-TILT hardcore crazy person at you and you were like "ok but why don't you sit down and have a nap and a juice box and we'll talk more in a few hours" and you've been a source of steadiness and reassurance even in the face of my hardest attempts to self-sabotage.

But on the roleplay front, it's staggering how much you care for other people. Your concern is always other people, even when it means doing things like sending drafts of your posts before submitting them, just to make sure everyone's at peace with the content first. You're very aware of hoq quickly IC things can become horrible or unbearable, and bend over backwards to make sure everyone inhabits some kind of comfort zone. I can be fairly chaotic, and your rigid adherence to Order is grounding.

Also Klaus and Fitz are really cute and mean a lot to me. That's a thing too.

lkasjdfa man he's the only one who's picking up on that I MEAN SHE KEEPS VERY FEW SECRETS like she does hate lies and the only things she keeps hidden are things that are very much only her business as far as she's concerned. Like her personal life. It doesn't hurt anyone so she doesn't feel bad about not talking about it. That being said..... yeeeeeah her willingness to tell all makes it a lot easier to hide the things she doesn't want to tell. She makes such a point of not keeping secrets, what could she be hiding?

(Incest. She's hiding incest. But post canon update she'll be less hiding it and more just not shouting it to the rooftops she's out of fucks to give.)

can you believe we've been friends for like...eight years now? at least. it's crazy to think about but also wonderful because I can't imagine my life without you in it. you're my best friend and one of the best writing partners I have ever had the pleasure of writing against. while we have had many winning combinations over the years I consider klaus and rebekah to be our magnus opus. we love them so much and getting to play them at a point where they're on better terms while not ignoring the sordid history between them has really been a treat.

your writing is like reading a novel and you are constantly challenging me to be a better writer. please challenge me forever. and talk to me forever. basically, continue being amazing which i am sure will be no challenge for you
