[R is not in the dining room to eat anything, and every Living person in there should probably be glad of that. He's exploring in the quiet, idle way that he often does - time passes slowly when you have no real need to sleep - and doesn't pay too much attention to the girl until she speaks.

She's talking to a stuffed toy, but he doesn't think that too odd. Wryly, he muses to himself that it probably provides better conversation than some of the other zombies he has tried to speak to.

His hands go into his pockets, and he looks at the cake for a moment. It should probably look appetising. Maybe it would if he could smell it.]

Don't have to eat.. the whole thing. [He suggests helpfully(?). She doesn't seem to be getting too much advice from the fox.]

[look wynonna is the human form of (ง'̀-'́)ง she cannot be stopped. How are they supposed to get answers if she doesn't go about demanding them? She's never been exactly good at the long con, she has a terrible poker face ]

Already took full advantage of that. [ a tip of his hat, for his existence is not as simple as it may seem. much like your own, damon. he lost his original hat to a demon that decided it was the most delicious snack ever. thanks to the closets, he's replaced it with a damn near close approximation. ]

Much obliged. [ he slides onto a stool and takes a long, sweet sip of the finely aged liquid. at least alcohol can be familiar when much else ain't. ]

[ Of course, if she knew anything about what he'd been through, or how his father had treated him, she'd probably have some protective instincts kicking into high gear. ]

I do. A lot. I feel lost without my lab, but uh - I'm trying to find ways to fill the void. It probably sounds super strange, but I thought at the very least we could all try to have a little...fun. Movie nights once a month or something. It's not much, but anything kind of close to normal could be good.

[ Harry lets out a slight chuckle at the thought of him ending his life so dramatically. As if he deserves it. No. He deserves to be punished. Maybe if he had been adamant about returning to New York, if he hadn't allowed his father to push him away, things would be different. Maybe if he'd been a better son. Maybe if he'd been better at his studies. Maybe if he hadn't spent the past summer after school traveling around Europe. He'd let Norman down and now it's too late. He'd been too wrapped up in his own hurt, in his own pain, in his own selfishness, that he'd failed to be there... to do something. Anything.

And now here he is. Caught up in the same troubles. His father had left him with his life's work and he can't even figure out how the damn device works. Harry's laughing even more now. He can't help it. ]

This. [ He digs into his jacket pocket and pulls the tiny cube out, holding it up, attempting to control the shaking of his hand, but it's useless. It's worse now than it was yesterday. He presses the device to Peter's jacket. ] He left me with this. [ Is it going to be as pointless to him as it had been for Norman now that he's stuck here in Wonderland? No way of accessing that research. No way of curing this disease. ]

It's all I have, Pete. It's all I have. [ He turns his gaze to the ground and takes a shaky breath to calm himself before he takes a step back so he can drown himself in more alcohol because that's always helped. It's the new Osborn way. Whatever can't be dealt with, just drink it all away. ]

I'll take whatever comes to your mind first. [ He appreciates that someone's willing to humor him with a response. He could use the distraction. ]

Banana chocolate crepes and New York pizza. Sounds like a party. [ He can't remember the last time he had an actual meal. Without some kind of a menu in the dining room, Harry often has a hard time figuring out what he'd like to eat. By the time he's made a decision, he's had a little too much to drink. And the kitchen is completely out of the question. He's not sure he even knows how to operate a microwave, let alone a stove. ]

What kind of movies do you like?

[ lineface. ...do you really want him to give that an honest answer? he could, but he's not going to. if only because he doesn't want to start a gunfight in the middle of this bar. wouldn't be fair to the owner. ]

[it's tempting to throw the drink in his face. It's also tempting to just punch him. She doesn't do either of those things. She doesn't want him to know he's gotten under her skin. (Deep down she knows he knows but she needs get illusions. Instead she takes the glass from him. She takes a long draw from it before responding ]

And here I thought you might lecture me on needing to keep my wits about me

Me? Lecture you? Never.

[ only always, usually with some reminder of just what people are capable of or what wyatt would've done in a situation like this. (what would wyatt have done? doc honestly can't say, and he doesn't like that.) ]

Drink up. We're in some magical land run by a rabbit, or so I'm told. Clearly the only answer to a situation like this is inebriation. [ yeah, he totally doesn't understand the literary reference. at all. ]

Actually if we're going by that logic we probably shouldn't eat or drink anything, it always ended up bad for Alice [wynonna doesn't care for those books and she cares even less for the modern implications that alice was simply insane or deranged. Hits a little close to home ]
