Finding others roaming in the evening was not new. Others roamed the hallways as well, but most just started flicking on the lights, or were coming back from one of the bars. Newt frowns slightly at that question, and then following the other man's gaze. Newt chuckles.
"Oh yes, I most certainly do see him," he says, smiling as he made a small sound, trying to draw the pyjak back to him. "His name's Andy," he adds, which is not likely to entirely help, and he's aware of that.
"Life in Wonderland is a bit different than what you may have known. Sorry if we scared you. He needed his walk, and I just feel the need to try and keep an eye on things for the sake of some." Not the least of which is himself, and his need to avoid his nightmares that came and went. For weeks he has none, and then like tonight, he woke with them again. Drowning as never easy.
"Andy and I just felt the need to get out, to stretch our legs. I think he hopes to make a stop by the kitchen, to be honest. And he's right, we probably will." Smiling at that, because he can't help but show how fond he is of his pet.
