Peter grimaces and clears his throat, sliding his hand behind his neck as he lifts his gaze up to meet her own. She has these really expressive, intense eyes, and they make him trip a bit despite trying to be disgruntled.

"It's Peter." Never mind this is something Mary Jane already knows. He's just not the Peter Parker that she knew before (He's not the Peter Parker in those comics and movies that everyone loves either. He's not- He's just not. "I might be checking up on you."
