[ it has been a very long while since diana has felt the sort of gaze sara fixes upon her now. near a century, to be specific. she grins in return. ]

People are the variable element. Each one of us carries an entire world with us, representing when and where we hail from. I would like to know about you, Sara. It's not every day I get to meet someone who's recently put away her bow and arrows...

( There's a small frown at her phrasing, this woman hitting her mark on guesses about her. She doesn't like it )

It sounds like you know plenty already.

( A bow isn't her weapon choice as much now, not when it's harder to conceal, so she has technically put them away... )

So why don't you tell me?

[ not always with words, and therefore hardly enough to paint a full picture. diana dips her head, though, in acknowledgment. ]

Your hands tell me of your skill with many weapons, favored among them smaller blades. Your eyes speak of mistrust, and your body of power and skill. These things you told me before I offered you my open hand.

[ on the table, diana's hand turns, palm upright. for all she's reading from sara, this is her attempt to return communication in kind. you are dangerous. you are capable. i come to you without fear. will you do the same? ]

( There's a few seconds before Sara drops her shoulders, attempting to relax (or appear relaxed) a little. There's no point in asking the woman to share herself, not when Diana knows that Sara's done as in depth a read on her as she had on Sara.

So, instead, Sara gives a nod, heading dipping for a few seconds as she thinks of a response )

I've only been here a couple of weeks. ( And her gaze raises again, settling back on Diana's face ) I'm from somewhere called Star City.
