The pigeons? Oh, they have a lot to fear from you. I'm sure they'll know to listen soon.

[She doubts it, actually, since pigeons aren't exactly known for their intelligence, but that's neither here nor there.]

If your friends don't have time, maybe you'll keep me company for a while? We can both try to get stronger.

[oakay]

I am Groot. [Nod. Nod. They will learn to fear his wrath.

He hurries along and now he lifts the device up over his head so he can see better, hurrying along at a faster speed now.] I am Groot! [He's on his way, he just has to avoid all of the feet and edges and things in the way. Once he's finally through the outside of the door, he stops at the entrance and looks around before lowering the device to face level.]

I am Groot?

I am Ivy.

[And she has put her device aside already, having awaited him. She kneels on the ground so she's closer to him, smiling still. How could anyone not smile at such a sight?]

It's an honour to meet you.

[oakay]

I am Groot.

[He points at himself. Then points at her. Pretty lady. Ivy. He will just make sure he has that name right, he doesn't want it to be like that time he called Drax the wrong name cause that was awkward.] I am Groot?

[With a smile, he looks around and then moves in closer to her, bouncing up and down a little.] I am Groot!

[birchplease]

Exactly. You've very good pronunciation. [Ivy nods and holds her hand out so he can take it, should he want to. There is no shyness there, she feels like they are kin already. Anyone attuned with nature experiences that some time.]

It's nice to meet you too! Are you from here or were you also brought in somehow?

[oakay]

[Of course he is, he's quite the linguist.

Groot reaches out and takes the hand with both of his, shaking it up and down before he slowly trickling out some vines to wrap around the hand, using it to pull himself up and onto it. He does enjoy to explore people, especially people who are big. He misses being big a lot.

He shakes his head as he begins to climb.] I am Groot.

[birchplease]

[If Ivy is surprised to see the vines, it doesn't show. She holds still, but doesn't help him either. He can prove that he can do it all by himself.]

So we are both new. But the gardens are beautiful.

[Getting up slowly to keep him from falling off, Ivy walks back in the direction of the trees.]

I don't like being inside, if I can help it. Men always want to lock me up.

[oakay]

I am Groot.

[He nods as he makes his way onto her shoulder and looks out to the garden, impressed by how green and bright everything is this morning.

Why would anyone want to be inside or keep someone inside when everything is so pretty out here? He would say it makes no sense but the world is full of assholes.]

[birchplease]

It really is. They want to destroy nature and never stop to notice how beautiful it is.

[She stops by a tree and puts her hand against it, watching as a little sapling begins to grow. At least nature hasn't left her stranded without some command.]

Is that something you like to eat, Groot?

[oakay]

I am Groot.

[He would eat pretty much anything, everything is food. Even pigeons are food but they are gross food that no one really wants to eat. The sapling looks cute though, so pretty and small. He makes an awe noise and reaches. No, no eating, that is too pretty.] I am Groot!

[birchplease]

I know, isn't it just? [Ivy reaches for the sapling and puts her hand around it, picking it off the tree. When she holds it out for Groot, it is already stretching and growing further.] Do you like it?

[While waiting for an answer, she kneels down to be closer to Groot.] Do you want to help me find a place for it to grow big and strong? It can't walk around by itself, like you and me.

[oakay]

Ooooooh. [Groot thinks it's very pretty, he nods his head before he starts scouting out the land, trying to find a place for the sapling to live. It's still very tiny, it needs to be safe. By bigger plants.] I am Groot!

[He nods and bounces back, already scouting out a good place to protect it from all the bad people.]
