[ Any other day of the week, she would just keep walking and go about her business. There was enough to do in Wonderland, anyway — gently pull Maizono-san and Ishimaru-kun further into her gaming pit, see if any preparations could be made for the next potential event, try to assemble a DDR machine from parts from the closet — there was enough to do, anyway. Enough to keep one busy.

But the familiar tune make her stop short, closing her eyes briefly as she smiles softly. It couldn't be a coincidence, right? For someone to know a tune like that . . . She turns, retracing her steps to the music room she'd just wandered past, resting her hand on the door frame as she leans in to get a better look at the pianist.

And for just a moment, her breath catches. It's not often that Wonderland catches her off guard — but then again, after Jabberwock Island and everything related to that, not much could. The surprise shifts quickly enough though, and Chiaki can feel a sort of relief wash over her. In a way, it had never been fair, had it? That most of Class 77-B would get a second chance, but their class representative never would. Except for here, where anything is possible.

She steps forward after a moment, footsteps light. ]

[ When she speaks, it's quiet, but there's no hesitation in her voice. She can't help but give the other girl a soft smile. ]

[ there are the times she wishes her friends were here. they knew more and had been through more and while she still felt out of her depth she knew she wasn't alone.

[Malia does not like Wonderland. None of it makes any sense. There are doors in places that there weren't doors before, no matter how far she runs or swims she can never find anything else, and all the people here are weird.

(Mostly, though, it's the fact that she's alone.)

For the most part, she can tell that this is a) not wherever this Stiles guy they're trying to find wound up, and b) permanent enough that she's going to have to try and deal with it, but as she's making her way to the youth center in search of something to do, first she's assaulted by music.
