it's better than a hotel room at least, going to a shop to buy food she doesn't want to eat or just not eating at all. wonderland isn't exactly a step up from the insanity that slowly - or quickly, she supposes - descended upon her while she was staying in the hotel, but it's something different. at least she remembers her time here. at least everyone is going through the same thing, and she knows that for sure rather than creeping on a guy next door who carries around a camera all the time.
there are usually other people here when jessica comes in, already eating or talking with their friends or people they knew. sometimes it would be full of drama, which she couldn't quite appreciate considering how dramatic everything had been from amy's disappearance to finding out jay had been going through the same thing as her and then - well, whatever came after that.
she isn't sure.
but this time there's someone sitting alone, which isn't unusual, but there's something familiar about him. it makes her sit down across from him, having her own drink of comforting hot chocolate, and stare only for a second. but she smiles soon after. or tries to, anyway. )
You look hungry. ( though she isn't one to comment. ) Lucky this place is so accommodating, huh?
