eat all the treats
[ the dining room table is covered in food. the girl at the head of it has helped herself to a very tall pile of waffles that's threatening to topple over if she's not very careful about how she cuts into the cakes with her fork.

mouth full, face spread in a blissful smile she waves over anyone who stumbles in on the feast. she speaks with a vaguely russian accent, consonants soft and r's rolling just so:
]

Don't be shy! Waffles are best eaten in good company, you know. And I happen to be very good company.

[ wink! ]

caught red-handed
You're saying you...saw me wave at someone and they fainted? I'm sure I don't know what you mean.

[ nina bats her eyes, shaking her head in feigned ignorance before smirking wickedly. ]

Trust me, I don't have to exert that much energy to make someone swoon.

homesick heart
Does anyone here speak Ravkan? I understand that there is some magic in place that transcends languages, but it would be comforting to hear one from my home.

[ and it's a safe and easy way to pick out anyone from her world without advertising her identity... ]

No mourners.

Wouldn't really call it magic. Some space nonsense, maybe, but not magic.

What's Ravkan sound like?
wafflealki: polite smile (of all the things that you would change)

Space nonsense? Sounds fun.

It sounds different to different people. Is the common tongue here your native language?

Not a clue. Everything sounds like English to me but that's just the translating doing that.

What makes it sound different to different people?
