You learn a lot when you blend in with the furniture and people don't pay attention.

What were you like before the walkers?

Kind of subjective, isn't it? Guess there isn't anyone else you can really ask, though.

[ Which: good. Michonne has no desire to see anyone who knew her before in Wonderland, because it'd mean the dead were here to haunt her in a whole new way. ]

I was private practice lawyer. Just means I worked alone and took whatever cases I wanted. Mostly family law, that's what mattered to me. I tried to be a good mom, took a lot of pictures. Went to museums and art galleries and operas. I think I was pretty fun. I think I would've been the cool mom whose house all the kids wanted to hang out with.

What's something you've always wanted to do but haven't had the chance to?

Take my kid on a road trip across country. He was too little. Then the world ended.

Yeah.

Not long after. I don't know if it was better or worse he didn't understand it all.

He was only two.
