Timezone/tag speed: EST. I'm a burst tagger, honestly. I'm usually down to boomerang in spurts, but my offline life can get fairly time-consuming so when things go hard I skip days between tagging outright. I also get into a weird fatigue when it comes to older threads? Like if something is 3+weeks old, I sometimes have a hard time getting the momentum back. I'm trying to get better with that, but it's a process for sure.
Interests: My timeline is a mish-mash of Japanese celebrities, video games that nobody cares about on this side of the internet, and tl;dr feelings about the current state of higher education. When a semester is in full swing, there's a lot of decompression about the weird (and oftentimes problematic) samples of student writings/behaviors.
Any apps/drops on the horizon?: There was some shaky ground in recent weeks, and I did talk about dropping for a bit? But it seems to have stabilized. No apps probably, but I don't think there's a risk of drops either.

What do they look like? (Link to photo or describe any key features, noticable marks/scars, etc.): So Fitz has been here for almost three years, and people who've known him for a while have watched him grow from wibblynerd to secret agent to (CW for mild blood appropriate for network TV:) literalsupervillain. So he's evolved over time, but right now the devil wears armani.

What is your character like? (Briefly describe any noteable personality traits/habits): Do you have ten years? Because it's complicated and might be in flux soon. I think that the core of Fitz's personality is that he's a people-pleaser who intensely wants to do good things and be a good person. It's just that he has a really slippery scale of what being "good" actually means. Right now, for him, being "good" means doubling down and holding his own in a "hostile environment". Which right now basically boils down to sternly griping about people consorting with supernaturals like this is Harry Potter and he's a wizard very concerned about blood purity. That metaphor got away from me. OH WAIT SPEAKING OF POTTER DEATHEATER POLITICS THE IMPORTANT BIT I should mention also that right now he's brainwashed to think he's part of HYDRA, which is a fictionalized stand-in for nazis/fascist solutions? Your characters are welcome to call him a nazi because he is, but he won't understand the connection because he's so deeply-engrossed in the culture to see the forest for the trees.
THAT BECAME A RAMBLE LET'S START OVER. He's one of those bad guys who thinks he's a good guy so he always self-narrates himself into being the hero of his own story. But he's also basically a James Bond endboss right now. Like it wouldn't be out of character for him to just sit at a big desk and be all "No, Mister Bond. I expect you to die."
What has your character been up to in Wonderland lately?: You know, the usual. Mistaking Wonderland for an "other world" dimensionhopping project he had going on at home, "infiltrating" a group of people who recognized him, killing a lady he thought might expose him, getting frustrated and exposing himself anyway, kidnapping some vampires and torturing them for scientific discovery, getting caught and having his entrails pulled out. YOU KNOW. THE USUAL.
CR PORTION
What daily/weekly activities does your character participate in? (Going to the diner every day, running on the beach each morning, for example): So right now, he's in captivity with limited visiting privileges. His availability is pretty much up to Freya, given that he's being jailed inside her closet. There are times when she lets him out with heavy magical nerfing, like for the fourth wall and new year's events, but generally speaking he's in solitary confinement unless an event pushes things in a different direction.
Any handwaved CR you’d like to mention? (Speaks to a diner employee every day, but wouldn’t necessarily thread it multiple times, for example): Most of it's fairly past-tense for obvious reasons, but he's still really quite fond of Drizella.
What kind of CR are you seeking?: I don't even know but I'm interested to see what happens. OH ACTUALLY THERE'S ONE THING I'll get into it a few questions down.
What kind of CR are you offering?: I kind of struggle with this, given that the setting allows for the accessibility of much of what he can offer without anyone needing his particular skillset? He's skilled in all the mad sciences, though, and is almost always interesting to smash against sentient machines and the like. He loves androids a whole lot more than he loves ghosts and aliens and stuff, that's for sure.
I also think it would be interesting to have him used in like a Hannibal Lecter capacity, for some tense "I hate that I need you right now" moments? Or like "to stop a killer, you have to hang out with a different killer for an afternoon"-type stuff. The trouble with that is fairly obvious, and would require a whole mess of OOC organizing that I'm not sure anyone has the energy to do. NOT SURE but hit me up if you've got a wishlist. If you need a plot device bad guy to twirl a mustache and tie someone to a railroad track, he's probably still available for that in theory as well, but it will also take a lot of talking, especially now that there's a prison to break out of first.
Is your character shippable/are you interested in shipping?: No matter where his head is at, there's really only room for one person in his heart at any given moment. Currently, he's whole-heartedly in love with the evil robot woman who's brainwashed him to love her. It's a thing, it's complicated, but full ships are probably off the table.
Any long term plans for your character others might be able to get involved in?: So timelines are all up in the air at the moment, but Freya has a lot of the pieces she needs to unlock Fitz's actual memories and bring him back from the brink, for at least a short while at a time. I think I'd like to play around with that a bit, where there's an overt personality swap issue and the "good" half keeps working to undermine a "bad" half that's growing increasingly cornered and desperate? I think there could be some cool fireworks to send the doctor out in a proper sendoff before he gets canon-updated away entirely (sort of. It's complicated. We'll talk about it when I get there). I think it would be cool in my head, but the larger framework surrounding that bit kind of falls apart since some key characters are no longer being played at Eway. But if you're down for weird mindscape fuckery and maybe like. IDK harboring a fugitive or something? I think there could be some fun collaboration out of that. Or, alternatively, everything will go smoothly and he'll get a canon update late February or something, haha.

I wanted to take a minute to give a shoutout to the people who helped pull together to make this ridiculousness work. I started planning out this villain arc thing over a year ago, with what feels like an entirely different group of people spitballing ideas and possibilities. Bad guys don't work in RP if there isn't a network of robust OOC communication. Getting one established as a viable threat is nigh-impossible, and some of you really threw down to help make this work and did your best to help me make sure that when someone punches a nazi in Eway in 2019, they'll be punching up and not just smashing a nerd into paste because it's the easy thing to do. In some cases other players were willing to put characterization on hold and keep their super-spies from eliminating the first whiff of a threat in the first couple of weeks. Other people offered up their characters for actual sacrifice. And a few more were willing to keep tabs on me as a person during moments when communication fell apart and I stopped being able to see a way out of a narrative that got too big for me.
Roleplay is about collaboration and friendship. Some of you really took those things to the next level and worked with me to build up some interesting stuff. Your ideas and companionship are more than I hoped for, and far more than I deserve. And for that, I am infinitely grateful.
