I honestly really hope I've never done or said anything to make you think you're intruding, because I love our threads. I love all the threads people are willing to play with me, but the Dean/Chihiro CR is one of my all time favorites.

You're right that I do get a kind of high demand and it gives me a lot to keep up with, though. I've had to choose between limiting threads and being fast enough to be relevant, or being wide open and being incredibly slow. I've found that the former seems to work for me better, and people strongly prefer being able to finish threads more quickly with me even if they're a little more spaced out, but I definitely want to clarify that it doesn't mean I don't want to do things with you, because I really really do. If I had better time management skills or fewer work responsibilities that might not be an issue, but I think it's something that's going to stick around for the foreseeable future as I keep getting promoted.

You should always feel free to hit up my IC contact or ask me to do the same for you, though, because I find really short text or audio tags to be quicker and easier to manage than event threads or logs, which take more planning and thought.

If there's anything else I can do to ease your mind or be more accessible, I'd love to know any suggestions you've got.

Oh, I wasn't trying to imply that there was anything wrong with what you were doing! The feeling of intrusion is largely my own invention and a product of my own general anxiety about Bothering People. I do think it's my own refusal to participate in OOC plotting posts that shuts out a lot of opportunities for us to interact, since I notice most of Dean's posts tend to be closed ones that were accounted for in the plotting threads. I've also generally been not participating in the events as much lately (there's only so many ways to play out "Chihiro is basically helpless") and just kind of letting it be assumed that either Chihiro has been able to avoid danger or has been protected by other, more hardy residents - if you like, we can retroactively imply that Dean has been with her in some of them.

In any case, I'm sure there will be a better climate for Dean/Chihiro interactions soon! I'll try and be a bit more forward in terms of making it happen from here on out.

I'm definitely happy to retroactively handwave that, Dean watching out for her is almost a surefire guarantee whenever the opportunity presents itself!

And yep, I definitely tend to organize my event threads beforehand. The reason for that- it was sort of a vicious cycle that took me a few months to figure out. I did open posts and they would get upwards of twenty different responses, I'd have to take on those threads in addition to the tag-outs I wanted to make, I'd end up with forty something threads in my inbox, freak out, get overwhelmed, slow to a crawl in the speed department, feel incredibly shitty about that, consider dropping, and hiatus to think about it, drop all the tags in my inbox, and start all over. That happened like twice before I realized I had to change things up in order to keep on keepin' on.

Since the last time that happened, I tried out a thread cap and stopped making open posts. It's worked for me really great, and I've been more or less on top of things for several months now- five or six at least.

tl;dr being responsible aww yesss

Anyway, absolutely, yes, all the good things to come! Don't be afraid to snag me oocly any time you wanna do a thing, or if an event looks like it'd make for some pretty sweet stuff, or anything at all dawg.
