[ Simon chuckles over the reply he gets, because he's really gonna enjoy when Barry figures out he's not at all joking, because good luck sciencing any sense out of Wonderland, mate. ]

I'd suggest taking what you can't eat down to the kitchens or the dining room on the first floor. Someone'll finish 'em off I'm sure. Or hell, bring some by the Bar up on Five. I'll shove em off on unwary customers for you.

they're pretty good. they seem like potentially good bar food, I think.

[ That's what you sciency superhero types keep telling yourselves. And then the whole mansion gets overrun by baby pigs. Or everyone starts breaking into random musical numbers for a weekend.

Or end up on the Oregon Trail trying to get to Denny's. Some things defy any logical sense and then you get killed by a herd of angry buffalo. ]

That's what I thought. Drop 'em by whenever you like, I'm here all day.

[ Simon glances up when the stranger wanders into the bar, but it's easy enough to guess who it is from the smell of tacos alone. Although the sight of him balancing eight trays of the things gets a raised eyebrow and a low whistle as he leans against the bar and grins. ]

Now that's an impressive sight. Taco party night it is. Bring em in, set em down before you end up wearing them.

[ He holds out a hand in invitation once the young man's done so. ] You new around these parts? I'm Simon.

[ shaking it with a smile just as soon as he puts down the tacos, looking around him with a growing sense of excitement. so ok, caitlin is probably freaking out and he really needs to find a way back across the multiverse but still, Wonderland. ]

so a bar in Wonderland, that's really awesome.

Well, most of us need something to do while we're here. [ Simon chuckles as he glances around. ] It's been here since long before I got here too, actually. Belongs to one of the long-term residents here. Pretty easy to run, too, considering we run out of something, we just hop to the nearest closet.

[ it's beginning to sound like a retirement property of a sort with a wonderland theme. except that everyone seems young enough and really, there was nothing in the books about a mansion filled with people from all across the multiverse, barry would have noticed it in his many attempts to track the unbelievable and impossible ]

so the closets really do respond to requests?

If they're feeling generous.

[ Simon quirks a grin and thumbs in the direction of the alcohol supply they keep in stock here behind the bar. ]

Occasionally they go on the fritz. Or give you something close but not quite right. There was a week or so once that all it would give us was rubbing alcohol. Not exactly what people were coming here looking for, you know?
