[ It isn't until she's played the last notes of the songs that Maki gets the feeling that she's no longer alone. Blinking, she looks over toward the door instinctively and sees that, surprise surprise, she'd been right. Someone is standing there. ...Just standing.

Sitting up straighter, she purses her lips and simply stares at him for a moment. It's always a little embarrassing when someone walks in while she's playing, but at least he had the courtesy to be quiet in doing so. Unlike Honoka, who had applauded obnoxiously and burst in to talk to her immediately after. ]

Did you need the room?

[ For all she knows, there's a turn-based system for using the music room as opposed to first come, first serve. ]

It didn't seem like anyone else was going to use it.

[There's an awkward moment where the two of them just stare at each other, because Wirt has no idea what he should be saying, or how he can escape this moment without being super rude. He hadn't meant to get caught watching her play.]

O-Oh, no, um! I...I can come back. You had it first. I-I didn't mean to spy on you or anything. It doesn't get used a lot, so I...I was just surprised to see someone else here, that's all.
