[ What Carol will see is Shane. No shaved head. A thick head of hair and that same dirty black t-shirt. What he remembers is the CDC doors opening and that's it. He doesn't remember what happens in there. He doesn't remember going to the farm and he doesn't remember what happened to him. The mental instability. The murderous rage. The chaos that drove and forced his hand. The decisions that he'd one day have to live with and swallow down. All he knows is that they made it to the CDC. One more thing accomplished when all hope seems lost.

At first he doesn't recognize her. She looks the same. Seems the same, but her eyes. Maybe it's just cause Shane's used to another Carol. A weaker one. The woman that was beaten down by that bastard. The same man that Shane pounded into the ground until he couldn't even breathe. He frowns at first and doesn't move. Just watches her from his spot. ]
