Mimicking what Koji said, holy cow this is a great place to start RPing. One day, as I randomly searched for Coraline Jones stuff online (circa 2009), I ran into a Coraline character here at Eway. My initial reaction was sort of, "WOW what is happening here," because Coraline was talking and doing things and people were replying. Roleplay was an extremely obscure concept to me at the time, and it took ages to figure out exactly how everything worked. I'll never forget that magical first moment seeing this character I love come to life.

So I was completely new, had not a single friend to teach me, and Eway just ran with it. I didn't know about OOC plotting, I didn't have AIM, I didn't even put up an OOC intro post. I'm sure I did things that had people raising eyebrows. But I NEVER felt unwelcome or discouraged, and pretty soon people had shown me the ropes. Eway people.

When I decided to RP again after a long hiatus, I looked around at a lot of games- and it was still Eway that I joined. I think this really is the best game for me, and I was just lucky enough to find it on my first try!

Talking from the opposite side of the world gets in the way sometimes and I'm awkward as heck online, but- all I want to say is, it's definitely the mods and the players that make this game. Thank you all for being a big chunk of my life, though we've never even seen each other! Especially because, to this day, even though I hardly ever talk OOC to you guys, you've never pushed me away.

Oh wow! Hello again, Helena-player! Long ago that was me! I'm so glad that I helped you find your way to Wonderland.

I'll be around for the 4th wall reunion parties, with Eway memories, so hopefully we'll be able to bump shoulders again.

I think I've told you this before, but my first reaction to you apping back to this game was "OH MY GOSH I WONDER IF THAT'S OUR OLD HELENA PLAYER" followed quickly by "wow Koji calm down he is not the only person in the world named Julio". But seriously I was SO EXCITED when I realized it was you, and I'm so happy you came back to us. It's been really fun reconnecting with you, and I love RPing with you just as much as the first time around. I have especially fond memories of Helena.

You were someone I always wondered about after you left, someone I had no way of contacting or seeing again but always wondered how things were going. I'm really glad you've turned up again. I'm having a lot of fun with Stan and Max, and I can't wait for their CR to get even stronger. Welcome back to us! ♥

MAN I went and looked at my old Helena posts (I do that now and then shhhh) and I think back then I didn't appreciate playing her as much. Looking back, I had so much fun with her, and I think of all the characters I ever played she was the one that most let me be creative with my writing. And even when I was a complete noob and did so many noobly things, you were all so patient and supportive.

I am SO sorry for just disappearing back then, tho! :( RL just got so busy and distracting. But yes, now I am back and more obsessed with RP than ever!! And it's great to be back.

AHHH Thank you!! (PFFFT OKAY Editing this comment cuz I just saw down there that you're Mouette! I have so many fond memories RPing with you too! I loved playing as Elaine, and I remember some of our specific threads, like with Lamb. She actually had a big influence on Elaine!)

back in like 2009/2010 i had just started rping and i was playing castiel from supernatural (solidarius) and let me tell you i STILL reminisce over how kind helena was to him and how freaking COOL elaine was. i was a hot mess of an rper and you were such a sweet and welcoming person!!! i probably never said it back then so past me says thank you

i'm having a moment right now but mostly i just want to hurl love in your direction because you still bring your a-game to max and stalking her has been SO ENJOYABLE <333

OH MY GOD Hi I remember RPing with you! I have especially fond memories if Castiel and the angel club lol! It was so nice especially when I would throw Elaine at him (or vice versa) cuz they had this very awkward (but amusing) relationship.

Apparently so many of us were new at the same time??? But all I recall was having a great time with everyone, and because we were all new I guess we were just doing whatever we felt like and it all came out amazingly. I had and still do have a really awesome time playing with all of you! :3 So THANK YOU as well!!

(And for the record I have had a blast reading your stuff too! XD)
