I can honestly think of a lot of people who should definitely not have access to a rocket launcher, though, so I'm gonna go with congratulating the closets on their discretion.

But I have to say, you're kind of making this place sound more like an extended, magical vacation resort than a place we've been kidnapped to. Also sort of Narnia-like, with the no-time-passing thing. Which was always the suckiest part, if you ask me; who wants to live through puberty twice?

Good news! Time doesn't actually pass here. So if you're seventeen, you're seventeen as long as you're here. Yaaaay? [He shrugs.] Otherwise, aside from the crazy mirrors and the whole world going haywire every few weeks, it is kind of like a magical vacation.

And I would be very responsible with my rocket launcher, thank you very much.

I feel like that's exactly what someone who should absolutely not be trusted with a rocket launcher would say, though.

Sure, ask away. I mean, my sister's spent more time talking to the mirrors than me, so she'd be the one to talk to if you want to know more about them, but I can help a little. As for the events. Heh. Every few weeks... I dunno. Something happens. And things go really weird for a few days, before settling back to normal. From what I understand, Wonderland mines our memories for ways to fuck us up. It's pretty effective, actually.

...Well, that's all just fantastic, isn't it. Are you being literal when you say talking to the mirrors? I feel like you're being literal.

Quasi-literal, because it's more like writing. Backwards. But there are people on the other side, and they're watching (isn't that spooky?), and they write back.

Okay, so. Let me make sure I've got this right. There are people on the other sides of the mirrors who watch us, and we can write to each other? And this place can read our minds and turn our crappy memories into reality just to mess with us?

[He pauses to consider, then nods.]

Basically yeah. With the bonus that the people on the other side of the mirror are twisted copies of us.
