[ The feed first shows the upside down of a cheerful woman who is more than likely unfamiliar to everyone in Wonderland. Don't feel bad, Wonderland. You're unfamiliar to her, too. She's that new! ]

Hi, I'm-

[ Her eyes dart away from the lens to the feed and back again. She quickly turns the comm rightside-up. ] Sorry about that! This is so different from my phone! Which I seem to have lost, by the way.

Oh! But- uh. Hi! I'm Emily Locke! I work at Wayne Security, and I think I took a wrong turn somewhere? [ She turns to look around her room in confusion, the comm tilting back to show the top of her head and the blank wall behind as she does so. ] Or decided to take a nap somewhere? I don't know. [ She shakes it off and smiles again at the feed. ] But. If anybody could help me get back to R&D, I'd owe you some amazing home-baked brooooooooowwwwwwwnieeeeeeeeeeeees!

[ The feed jumbles again, and there's a sound of surprise, some muttering, something that sounds like, "Maybe if I-" and then the transmission finally ends. ]

Very, very cautiously, Emily sticks her head out the door of the room she woke up in. "Hello?" This looks like way too nice a place to be Wayne Security. Everything is nice, everything is clean... No, she isn't in Wayne Security. She isn't in her apartment building, either, because this is way outside her price range.

She steps carefully into the hall, looks both ways, and sets off in search of answers. If this is a prank her team has played on her - maybe they went out drinking and she drank so much she doesn't remember, except she feels fine? - it isn't funny. And if it's a new villain in Charm City who makes people think they live in luxuriously-halled buildings and so-so rooms that are actually about the size of her apartment, then... well. Obviously she'll have to give him a lecture.

And maybe ask about rent. How far from work is she here?

And what the hell is going on? Because something isn't right here.

[Looks like someone's in need of a superhero, and the good news is, one of the best happens to be flying down the hall. Well, a clone of one of the best, at least. That's gotta count for something. Either way, Superboy is on the case.

When he sees a woman with the usual lost look of the newly arrived, Kon slows and lands, giving her a concerned look.]

Hey, you okay?

[ Emily stops when she sees someone flying toward her. FLYING! (please pause for internal squee and why doesn't she have her phone she needs to take a PICTURE STAT!)

She watches for a second, and then it occurs to her that she... doesn't actually know what to do. Back home, she'd have just watched as he flew past. And in Charm City, everyone just kind of... waits until the hero stuff is done. Or villain stuff, since it's usually Jack O'Lantern.

She's never been this close to a superhero that isn't Crimson Fox. How is she supposed to act?

Cool, Emily. You're supposed to act cool.

Or, as she likes to think, she's supposed to rock being herself.

So she moves a little to the side so he has room to fly around and smiles as she waits for him to pass.

Only he doesn't.

And he's speaking to her?

This. Is. The. Best. Day. She's met her second superhero ever and he's checking to see if she needs help! Not even Crimson Fox does that!

Okay. One little outer squee. And a jump of excitement. Heroes like to know they're appreciated, right? Right.

Oh, hell, she hopes he's a hero and not a villain. But he's got to be a hero, right? He hasn't done any property damage yet and he's been around for seconds. ]

Are you a hero? Not that I mind. I've totally met heroes before. [ She sets her hands on her hips, unable to resist looking proud of herself. ] Crimson Fox. Met her. Multiple times. [ Oooh la la, right Mr. Hero? ]

Oh! I'm Emily. From R & D! Is there anything I can help you with? I mean, I'm kind of lost, but once I find out where I am, I can totally help!

[Kon's general expression of concern melts a little into annoyance because, well, Emily. She has that effect. But also because he's freaking Superboy. He's used to being recognized. Sure, that's changed since he got to Wonderland, but there's still a part of him that's used to the spotlight and used to people knowing his name.]

Uh, yeah, hello? [He jabs the thumb at the S shield on his t-shirt. Okay, his costume is literally a t-shirt and jeans, but still. He was flying! He's one of the Teen Titans and a former member of Young Justice! He's saved the world. Multiple times.] Superboy. Kind of a bigger deal than Crimson Fox. Isn't she French?

[Whatever. He rolls his eyes.]

Look, you're in Wonderland. I don't know where or what R&D is, but you're not there now.

[ She looks at his shirt again when he points to it. But come on. Just because he's a Superman fan doesn't mean he's a hero! And: ] Excuse you? Crimson Fox is amazing. I don't see you saving Charm City! Mr. Super-

[ WAIT, EMILY. Double-check! ] Boy? Seriously?

[ She straightens. ] And how do I get to Wayne Security from here? [ Where's Wonderland, anyway? ]

I've saved the world a bunch. Charm City, wherever the hell that is, was included.

[Probably.]

And yes, Superboy. I didn't pick it. [Not quite true, but no one wanted to call him Superman even when Kal was dead and he was insisting on it. Superboy was his only name for a long time.] You seriously haven't heard of me? Clone of Superman?

Wouldn't Wayne Security be in Gotham? [That's where Bruce Wayne is. Kon scowls briefly.] Doesn't matter. Either way, it's in another dimension. You're not gonna get to it from here.

[ She eyes him, not suspicious or anything - she doesn't think he's lying, per se, just... ]

Maybe you were just standing behind other people in the photos. And... no, sorry, I haven't.

And no, Gotham's across the river! In another diiiiiiiiiimeeenssssssiiiiiiiiion? [ As she says the word, her face twists, because- because no. Just- no. Right? No. ]

What do you mean, another dimension? How'd I get here? Can't we just... reverse engineer it to send me back? [ She holds up her hand straight at a 45-degree angle. ] Switch on. [ Boom. Lowers her hand ninety-degree angle. ] Switch off. Like that!
