[ The worst thing he thought he ever had to deal with was never being good enough in his father's eyes. He didn't think he'd had to deal with this. Harry looks back at Peter, wishing more than anything that they'll be able to find a way. A part of him is thinking that he shouldn't burden his old friend with what he feels is his problem and his problem alone, but he feels buried under it. Sometimes it gets hard to even breathe. ]

I don't know if we can. [ It's not like they have any of Oscorp's research here. Certainly none of their technology and nothing from the labs. All he has is some information locked up in a device which is likely going to be useless. ] Norman Osborn was a genius and he couldn't do it. Couldn't figure it out. Couldn't save himself. [ He clenches his hand into a fist, digging his fingernails into his palm, trying to stop the shaking. ]

... Retroviral Hypodysplasia. [ He lets out a grin, attempting to put on a brave face -- though it's easy to see that he's frightened. ] Dude. You ever even heard of that before? [ Because he hasn't. He's not even sure what kind of medication he's supposed to be on right now. If there's even anything he can do to stop its progress. Good ol' dad hadn't left him with a list of what to expect and he's not sure if that's a blessing or if he's just screwed. All he knows is that the pain comes and goes. ] It's incurable. That's what we know. [ He looks at the device in Peter's hand. ] His life's work. All of it. And that's all we know for sure. [ He smiles, and for a moment, it's almost like he's okay with the fact that he's going to die, but then the smile disappears only to be replaced with a look of pure anguish. ]

I don't want to end up like my father, Peter. I can't... [ Harry doesn't expect Peter to come up with a solution to his problem. He realizes that he only needs to vent his frustrations. He's just had too much to drink. That's all this is. ]
