[ on the subject now, claire's head unconsciously sifts through memories of a city under siege by aliens, of captains and men of iron going to war in the streets of new york with the fate at humanity at stake. of an er she didn't leave for a week.

closer to home: a blind man capable of moving with more grace that the sighted, a woman whose acerbic wit was the only thing stronger that her arms, and a bulletproof man with a voice like butter. sweet christmas. ]

( Someone that wasn't here, but Jean had studied with Charles enough to remember what he'd taught her, to be able to work on it without him there. She didn't need him to hold her hand, even if this wasn't usual.

Her eyes narrow at the woman's thoughts, the words feeling more direct now than when Claire had thought before. It wasn't a memory, or a throwaway comment but a question. One for Jean )

For someone that hasn't dealt with abilities you're very informed about them.

Though there's a difference between not being ashamed and not publicising something. I know you've seen it.
