[ Leslie blinks at him, wide-eyed, trying and failing to look innocent. ]

Me? Want your shirt off? Why...why would I want that? Why would I care about seeing your lithe, muscled torso, lightly glistening with sweat, body still pumping with adrenaline, triumphant in your victory and brimming with vitality after your brush with death...

[ She's getting off track here, a little. Leslie trails off, staring into the distance, then blinks, shaking her head. ]

What...wait, what were we talking about?

[He just looks amused and reaches over to squeeze her arm.] I appreciate your confidence that I'd win against a space raccoon.

[He is less confident. But he won't ruin her fantasy.]

[ She smiles when he touches her, as always inordinately pleased at any physical contact from Ben. But she just rolls her eyes, shaking her head dismissively. ]

Well, of course you could. It's a raccoon, Ben.

A raccoon with a lot of guns. And a talking tree. [It's comics, Leslie, just go with it.]

[ Leslie opens her mouth to respond, and then stops, frowning in confusion. Talking tree. Something about that is ringing a bell. ]

[ Oh, no. She speaks slowly, giving him a knowing, serious expression. ]

Have you been having all-night Lord of the Rings marathons again? You know we've talked about this, it's not healthy to watch those movies for more than six hours straight -

[ Already, she's looking him over, assessing the damage. No Letters to Cleo T-shirt. His hair's relatively tamed. Surreptitiously, she reaches for his wrist, checking to see if he's any skinnier than normal. ]
