[Who else did you expect to go with her to soak in the hot tub? I mean, obviously.]

Summer vacation with very rude event interruptions, maybe. Trust me, if it was always like this, there would be a lot less people complaining.

[She tosses her towel nearby, sinking down to sit on the edge of the tub, slipping her legs into the water to get used to the heat.]

[ What Bonnie doesn't want to admit is that... She isn't particularly worried at the moment. After what they just went through at home, this is a break. What else could possibly be worse than an Original vampire trying to sacrifice one of her best friends?

A lot, probably. But for now, she just wants to enjoy not dealing with that. ]

Come on, Caroline. Can we just enjoy not dealing with all the stuff we have to deal with for a few minutes? [ With a smile, Bonnie pushes herself off the side of the hot tub and proceeds to splash water at Caroline. ]

I am one hundred percent here for exactly that reason and you know it.

I know! I know, I'm just trying to take a page from the Caroline Forbes Handbook of "Having a Good Time Even When Things Suck." [ Even for all Caroline has been through the last year, since the Salvatore brothers showed up in Mystic Falls and their lives were all upturned, she was always the one of the three of them to make sure there was time for fun. Bonnie doesn't like to admit it, but she appreciates that Caroline even tries. ]

At least they have a pool here. I wasn't really expecting that from a creepy, old magic mansion.
