TEST DRIVE MEME
►► Take a brand new muse out for a drive, bring an old voice and try Wonderland's setting and population on for size. See how that Mirror personality fits your character! Post a top level comment, tag into other people's starters, enjoy yourself!
►► Any scenario goes! Thread out your character's arrival, have them act like a long-established resident, let our past events inspire your scene, or write up literally any Wonderland-based scenario you feel like playing with!
►► If you want to take it a step further, check out our NAVIGATION for all the game info you'll need, and our INPUT & INQUIRIES page for any missing pieces. If that's got you convinced, the pages for RESERVES and APPLICATIONS are right there for you!
►► Please only note that any threads made as part of the test drive meme are not game canon, and cannot be used for the activity check OR as samples for any future applications. Thank you for understanding!
AND THAT IS ALL, GET SETTLED IN AND HAVE FUN!

On occasions. ( she wasn't the biggest chocolate eater, and now didn't seem like the right moment either ) I take it that there's some significance to this passage?
( obviously, if he was expending this much effort on it. she didn't intend for it to seem like a silly question, more a prompt for him to elaborate as much as he wished to )

[ ...don't ask what happens if it doesn't go well. ]

I'm Lem. Lem King. It's lovely to meet you...?
[ now that he realizes he'd been a rude jerk he does prompt her for her name as well.
but he's also looking at that chocolate very expectantly. ]

( and she raises the chocolate piece before plop. nom nom. because it's infinitely less shifty as soon as you know someone's name, obviously )

soft violin can be heard, buffeted by clarinets in the distance as if she's listening to music from an adjacent room. the smell of ozone as rain threatens to pour down on the world in a torrent-- and then thin sunlight, and the quiet splash of lake water against their rowboat. ]
Ah-- I seem to have bungled it.
[ a too-simple statement, given he's just teleported them from the library to a boat in the middle of the lake. ]

( though she's no stranger to being stranded at sea she would rather not being stranded in wonderland's waters. the scorpion had been bad enough )
Do you know where it went wrong?

I don't mind a swim, but. It's a bit chilly.
[ it does get a smile out of him, even as he's shaking his head in answer to her question. she's optimistic, which is nice. ]
Probably me. This isn't actually my preferred use of this magic...
