Do you have any regrets?

I have a lot of regrets -- I've made a lot of bad choices in my life, more bad than good. But the thing I regret most is killing my sister, Willa, even if I know it was the only way to save everyone else.

Shit. It's shitty you had to make a choice like that. It's one of the worst things anyone ever has to do. Killing someone they love, because it's the right choice.

...because it's the only one.

It does suck. I wanted so desperately to save her, but I couldn't. She was well past saving and the entire town would have been destroyed otherwise.

The worst part is if I had kept looking for her when she went missing, if I didn't give up and assume she was dead all those years -- maybe we could have actually saved her. Willa deserved better than what she got.

Sometimes you can't save someone.

No matter how much you want it. Most people who die so soon, they deserve better, and I wish she had better too. Maybe if you had kept looking, maybe nothing would have changed, but I get having those kinds of regrets. There's no way to know for sure.

No. And in the end, wondering doesn't do any good, you can't change anything. In the end, it happened the way it happened, and you have to find a way to live with that.

I like to go to a lot of thrift shops, you can find interesting shit that way.

Lots of interesting shit ends up second hand. You're not wrong about that.

Plus, we don't exactly have a lot of big name stores in Purgatory, you gotta make do with what's available.

True, you can find some good picks in the stores there but a lot of times you need to drive to one of the bigger cities.

I get the impression you don't get to the city too often.

Not these days -- but before I came back home I was bumming around Europe for a few years, I used to get to cities a lot more.

There're worse ways to spend your time.

Certainly, sometimes I wish I had kept to doing that.
