As if reliving the worst moment of her life wasn't enough, hearing Fitz's tone of voice makes her feel she's about to replace that moment with whatever's about to happen.

Who knew Jemma'd be relieved the moment starts there, and not with the discussion of her shooting his digital father. The thought of it makes her angrier. How dare she be held accountable to shooting the equivalent of an NPC in a video game. Alastair Fitz was nothing, not her, not like Fitz insists.

Once upon a time, Jemma was unable to do what she does now: baldly lie to him. "It was a problem with some computer code. You weren't happy with how I fixed it. You didn't want it deleted."
