Timezone/tag speed: CST; I'm usually pretty good about tagging back at least once a day, although I've been slipping :(

Interests: Besides Steven Universe, the most recent things I've been into are Houseki no Kuni/Land of the Lustrous and The Good Place. And hypothetically whatever I'm playing on Steam but in practice it's usually either CK2 or Battle Brothers for eternity. I also like cats and making hesitant stabs at various crafting stuff; I've been trying to get back into knitting lately. I dunno, I never really like talking about myself a lot.

Any apps/drops on the horizon?: Nah. Let me tell you, for all my RP life, I have never been any good at splitting my attention between more than one character, however much I wish I could. That's life.

CHARACTER DETAILS

Character name/canon: Lapis Lazuli / Steven Universe

Character age: 6000+, looks... I dunno, generically young adult???

What do they look like?: Lapis is a blue lady. She has a rock embedded in her back and generally never changes her clothes because she TECHNICALLY isn't actually wearing any.

Permissions if applicable: Yo! (It's also got more detail on the appearance/first impressions, and pics since I was too lazy to link.)

What is your character like?: Lapis isn't a huge jerk for no reason, but tends to be a bit aloof and closed-off, and gets bluntly snarky however she sees fit. She has angst problems and can react badly when things are already bad, also occasionally when they aren't. Her softer side moves ever closer to the surface, though, and she has WAY more of a sense of humor than you might initially think.

What has your character been up to in Wonderland lately?: With one thing and another, amazingly, Ewaymas actually marked the start of a good upswing for her, so at the moment things are actually pretty okay for her and I hope to keep lightening her up bit by bit. There'll always be more complications, but that too is life.

CR PORTION

What daily/weekly activities does your character participate in?: Lapis specifically doesn't do much and probably should do more. She'd be happier. But, y'know, the apathy.

What kind of CR are you seeking?: Well, you can't always predict when bouncing two characters off each other will have the most delightful results. I always love having her boggle/shittalk humanity with fellow nonhumans, and I'm always interested in people who can make her laugh. I wonder if I can find more people with experiences she can relate to, whether or not she wants to...

What kind of CR are you offering?: I will always disclaimer that Lapis isn't right for everyone and I accept this -- she's not outgoing or friendly or open, she can be a real downer, and she takes forever to actually start caring about anyone else. On the bright side, she can make a pretty decent snarkbuddy, and her lack of caring still also means she won't care about things that can be confusing or off-putting to other people, especially since she also lacks social mores.

Is your character shippable/are you interested in shipping?: okay fine look she's got the slowest slowburn something going on with Peridot, they still don't even know it, and Iunno if that's going anywhere before the heat death of the universe but I can't ever stop

Any long term plans for your character others might be able to get involved in?: Not much in specific... maybe I'll work out the kinks and finally submit an event, and she needs to keep evaluating her whole deal with the mirrors and Mirrors, but eh.

Yeah! Both of those are good! I don't know much about Kara but I trust your appraisal, and Jessica with the gems is always such fun (although I know she's been, uh, busy a lot). I'll keep my eye out too!

Yeesh sorry for taking a while to get back to this -- but honestly that sounds pretty fun yeah. I'm sure he conducts a lot of friendships in that fashion. Also, probably another person who would have excellent reactions to meeting aliens.
