He pauses to look around. It's just the two of them here so...

"Hey, aren't you guys supposed to be paired up with a Freelancer or something? Why are you out here on your own?"

"Technically, I'm just like you. I can walk around like this or be paired with a Freelancer or stuffed into a robot body. And for now, this is where I am." Epsilon shrugged a shoulder.

"And if you see Wash, you should probably steer clear. He doesn't react to our kind well and your name would probably only upset him more."

"Pfft, right... Whatever you say." His head rolls slightly as if demonstrating how much his nonexistent eyes are rolling at the comparison between them. "Just like me."

"Why would my name upset him? Did Tex talk a bunch of shit about me? I can guarantee that like, seventy five percent of it is total bullshit."

Because why else would Wash not like the name Leonard Church?

"Look, just steer clear of him, okay. You can look him up on the network if you need to know what he looks like, but he's really not in a good place to deal with AI or anyone affiliated with the program.

He's still pissed about what they did to Tex with their crazy AI implantation shit. The whole Wyoming trying to kill Tucker and Omega going on a 'take over the universe' binge didn't exactly help either.

And then watching Tex getting blown all to hell.

He might just be a little bitter.
