And how would you know that? Have you tried?

[He doesn’t rush him. Doesn’t charge. Doesn’t yell. Just stands there and lets the gas leak out onto the carpet, and sneer. Tim debates drawing out a lighter and sparking a cigarette, just to prove it. Then again...]

Put the gas can down before someone else decides that you're a bigger threat than I have.

[Right now the only risk Alex poses, other than the obvious risk he poses to himself pretty much by default, is the fact that he might learn that Jay's here. Or the fact that he might elect to finish what he started, where Tim is concerned. Can he even remember that?]

[It's impossible to tell, the last thing he might remember. It's not like he's what you'd call a reliable narrator either, now, is he?]

[Does he know? Tim's being pretty calm about all of this, which is... surprising. Alex would expect Tim to be a little more... thrown by all of this. He needs to figure out what Tim knows.]

[Alex, it turns out, can do a lot of things he didn't think he was capable of. He can kill an innocent. He can give up on his film career. He can entirely lose hold of everything that used to be important to him.]
