Prompt A: Serious Event

A memory is displayed. It's yours, the most traumatic of your life whether it was a terrifying clown encounter or the death of someone you love. It's on a loop for everyone to see. You can enter the memory and take your own place, but no matter how hard you try, you cannot alter the outcome. You're forced to try in vain to change what happened or watch until you decide it's too much and walk away. If you can.

Prompt B: Lighter Event

Welcome to Storybrooke.

You've lived in a quiet town in Maine for as long as you can remember. You are a fishmonger or a diner employee, perhaps you work at the hospital. Whatever you do and whoever you are, it's not the real you. You are cursed and you know no other life outside of Storybrooke.

When the curse breaks (either from True Love's Kiss or, in a more TDM friendly, handwaved way), you have two sets of memories: who you were, and who you are. Do you choose to accept all that you were cursed to believe, or would you rather slip back into your old life? The choice is yours.

Prompt C: ediS rorriM

Use this prompt to test out your mirrors. Are they loyal to the new White Queen or do they think she's too good to be true? Do they long to cross over or spend their days tormenting reals? Whatever the scenario, know that the Queen is watching, and let that guide you - or not.

Prompt D: Choices

Any scenario goes! Thread out your character's arrival, have them act like a long-established resident, let our past events inspire your scene, or write up literally any Wonderland-based scenario you feel like playing with.

[Sadie stares at him for the longest time, silent, not even sure what to make of that. Then the mental picture of what he's saying click into place and she gapes. Way to go. Not many can shock Sadie, but he's managed it.]

You lived in a school all Lord of the Flies style for eight years because of zombies?

[Well that one ups high school massacre. Least in the book of the high school... survivor is the official title.]

Hey, I'm a bad ass scary kid. [Which is kind of true outside of Storybrooke as well.]

You get to the part where he killed the Lost Boys as they grew old?

[Yay, he wins the prize. ]

Baaasically. Though we don't use that word for them.

[Because if there's something worse than growing up in a zombie apocalypse, it's coming from a world where no zombie fiction EVER existed beforehand. ]

You know, I could believe it. Wouldn't dare doubt it for a second. [He gives a soft, dismissive snort. ] It's fine. I think I can take him.

What word do you use, and what's the difference?

[She's already learning there are differences between things she thinks she understands and what they really are in different worlds.]

Well we end up back there, don't let him win. It's creepy enough kidnapping a girl to be mom but that's just ugh.

Walkers. There's no difference that I can tell? We just never had the word 'zombie' back home. Apparently other worlds had movies and junk about them, which would have been super helpful for us at the start. All that don't get bitten and aim for the head stuff is what we had to learn ourselves.

[Learn or die, anyway, and that last option wasn't great.]

It's okay, I don't think he'd stand up to the might of Chairles.

[He's definitely waiting for her to ask who-or what- Chairles is. He's rocking on the heels of his feet with an excited grin. ]

Yeah, we so totally have movies and all about it. I've been to marathons about them. [And love them, just about as much as any horror movies.] It's so bizarre imagining a world that doesn't even have stories about them. That's ... maybe it means my world won't ever get them.

[Because that's totally not how that works.

And she's going to. She has to.]

Still, she takes the bait and his grin splits even wider. He reaches into his tenchcoat and pulls out what looks like (and IS) a a broken chair leg with nails in it. It's pretty make-shift as maces go, but he's clearly very proud of it. ]

Meet Chairles! It's helped me through a whole lot of Walker trouble though the years.

Here's hoping. I know a lot about serial killers. Not so much about zombies, and not sure I want to know.

[It's interesting being in honest in ways she hasn't before, couldn't have imagined.

Her eyes widen when he produces the weapon, staring at it a minute before grinning.]

You know a lot about serial killers, huh? From this life or the real one?

[Most people don't just straight up question that kind of thing, but Louis isn't most people. His common sense isn't always on its best setting.

It's never on its best setting. Never. ]

I know right? Made it myself. It's great for a good blow to the head. Knocks 'em down like skittles.

Real life. [She likes that he asked. Most shy away when she says something like that.] I co-run a vlog about serial killers, and then one came to my home town. Not that it is our fault.

And so you came here and made one, or it come with you? [Not that she wants one, but wait, yes she does.]

Diiiiid they come because they liked your blog? Either way, no. Totally not your fault. Because serial killers are kinda crazy like that, right?

It came with me, I made it back home. I think it's gonna be a big help in all these event things people talk about, right?

Naw. I mean, we don't think so. We had a decent vlog but not that huge before everything that happened.

We only started getting big after he became part of things, and then after... it's been nuts, and awesome.

[Until she ended up in Wonderland.]

Given the things they talk about yeah. You have it as a Lost Boy?

I mean, most people wouldn't call having a serial killer around 'awesome', but you do you, I guess.

[He can't judge that much- he's seen WAY worse in the last few years. After all, the dead are easy to handle- nothing is as fucked up as the living. ]

I did! Though in the alternative history of not-Louis I found it on Hook's ship. Or rather ripped it off of one of Hook's chairs on Hook's ship. Because vandalism is cool.

Well... yeah. I mean, all the bad things yeah. No one wants that. Just... it means finding our niche, right?

[Also so much help for her and McKayla in other things but that's another story.]

See, you got the cool story. I just got to explore some worlds in trees. Though cool costume. Ten of ten, I would do it again.

It did, and now we're touring and working on a book and a story of our lives.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Do you get to stay in fancy-ass hotels? Get room service, and all that shit?

[He remembers seeing that kind of shit on TV when he was little. It always looked pretty damn sweet. ]

See? That's pretty awesome. Great feather in your cap. Helped out a King. He'll probably pay you in Candy Corn or something, but it's still a reward.

OH yeah, it's been a lot of fun in our time before college.

[He's one of those always the positive things, and it's kind of neat. It's been a while since she's seen someone like that.]

A bad bad reward, but it's payment.

Sweet. Get yourself a break before the hard work of studying and/or going to frat parties starts.

[Because college is absolutely those two options, right?]

Most people wouldn't even get that. Maybe you'll get enough that you can buy a spooky moped or something.

[She laughs at that.]

Yeah, me and McKayla are definitely planning on playing up our fame for college points. What else is the point of surviving?

[Okay, so surviving, but still.]

I would look totally awesome on a cursed moped, just saying.

You got to enjoy life while you got it, right? While you got a heart beating in your chest. Otherwise, it's just a waste.

[He laughs, offering some Grade A fingerguns in her direction.]

Damn straight. You'd look like a badass.

You and I see eye to eye on that.

[And anyone that totes around a weapon like that might not be entirely messed up if they ever learned her secrets. Not that she has any desire to talk about it with anyone. Not where she is currently mentally and emotionally.]

You think the closet would give us cursed items?

Glad to hear that. A lot of people don't get it.

[If Aasim doesn't bitch about his "live for the moment" credo at least four times a day, Louis knows something is desperately wrong with him.

Louis has learned enough horrible, terrible secrets that he can roll with them better. After Marlon...well, it's hard to top Marlon.]

I dunno. You could always ask it nicely. Pretty please, and all that. Maybe bribe it? What do magical closets like? Those nice smelly coat-hangers ?

But the only way to get the hangers is to ask the closet for them. So is it right to ask for an item you will then use to bribe it?

[And she's taking this seriously in so many ways. No matter how weird it feels to be talking about things like this.]

Noooot if you made them yourself. Like did this whole arts and crafts thing. Maybe you'd need to ask it for the materials, but then you can make something awesome out of it and be "here you go, closet, I did a nice thing with the stuff you got me, now do me a solid and get me this cursed item I need".

[The lesson here is don't take advice from Louis.]
