Prompt A: Serious Event

A memory is displayed. It's yours, the most traumatic of your life whether it was a terrifying clown encounter or the death of someone you love. It's on a loop for everyone to see. You can enter the memory and take your own place, but no matter how hard you try, you cannot alter the outcome. You're forced to try in vain to change what happened or watch until you decide it's too much and walk away. If you can.

Prompt B: Lighter Event

Welcome to Storybrooke.

You've lived in a quiet town in Maine for as long as you can remember. You are a fishmonger or a diner employee, perhaps you work at the hospital. Whatever you do and whoever you are, it's not the real you. You are cursed and you know no other life outside of Storybrooke.

When the curse breaks (either from True Love's Kiss or, in a more TDM friendly, handwaved way), you have two sets of memories: who you were, and who you are. Do you choose to accept all that you were cursed to believe, or would you rather slip back into your old life? The choice is yours.

Prompt C: ediS rorriM

Use this prompt to test out your mirrors. Are they loyal to the new White Queen or do they think she's too good to be true? Do they long to cross over or spend their days tormenting reals? Whatever the scenario, know that the Queen is watching, and let that guide you - or not.

Any scenario goes! Thread out your character's arrival, have them act like a long-established resident, let our past events inspire your scene, or write up literally any Wonderland-based scenario you feel like playing with.

"So why isn't it just coincidence? I mean, people talk about things like that happening all the time, right?"

"Because it doesn't stop. That is every day, every car trip, every time with Dirk. The universe just sort of... flows around him, pulling him where it wants him and making sure everything lines up right for what it needs from him."

Sitting back, Sadie frowns at what he's saying. Not sure what to think about it, but not able to help finding it curious. "Before I came to this place, I would mock myself for this but... is he like, I don't know, fae or a leprechaun?" She winces as she says it. "Also, are they the same? I don't even know. What mythological was all about luck? Think I mean that."

"I have no idea if fae or leprechaun are the same thing, but Dirk's not either. He's human, just... holistic."

It's not what holistic means. But it's the only word he has for it.

"And it's not luck. Well, not good luck. Dirk will survive and do what he needs to. Everyone else..." Was not necessarily so lucky.

"Which is what they use for healing that is natural," she points out, not that she's sure it's right or not.

"Wait, but you keep being safe, right?" That's what she picked up, anyways.

Todd shrugs and taps the table, picking up the glass and downing the clear liquid in a single shot. "Not really. Not once I did what I had to to make the situation work."

"Okay, you know if you say that I'm going to ask at this point right? This story is way cooler than most. Cooler than mine," she says. And to her it is. She's experienced her life, but things like this are really interesting because she'd never even imagined them before.

"I don't know how it works, or what the limits are, but there was a self enclosed and self fulfilling time loop which I had to be part of.

"I got electrocuted. A lot. And once the loop was closed, I lost my... plot immunity, I guess you'd call it."

With that he slips further away from things that Sadie has actually experience with. It's one thing being a girl from a small town with a terrible past. Another being a major hand in that past.

This though. Beyond holistic which she can tell herself is natural because the name said so - even if that is dumb logic - time loops get into things she isn't even sure how to imagine this in relation to her life.

Trying to dismiss killing someone over and over again and what that could mean, and not trying to look so curious about that. Which isn't hard because of the rest.

"Wait, wait. Your what?"

"I was safe, because the universe needed me. When it didn't need me, it got less safe." He looks at his glass, which obligingly refills with clear liquid, which he also slams back.

She bites her lip, considering that as her foot is forgotten. "Okay, how does that mix with your meds?" Because she needs to know this. "But, honestly, that's fairly creepy sounding. More so than my world."

"Eh. Not badly." Better than a lot of medications do. "It's weird and overwhelming. I've been hunted by a one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater."

She's going to have to take his mind for it. Unless it gets bad. Then she might stare. Her mouth opens and then closes, staring at him with wide eyes. "You're not kidding, are you?" She snorts, shaking her head. "And people look at me weird for what happened to me."

"So not kidding. It wasn't even the weirdest thing on that case."

Actually...

"It was one of the least weird things on that case. There was a boy, the things he dreamed came real. He had nightmares about that song." Another shrug.

"Okay, you know, with the rest? That makes more sense." And she is sincere in that. "They've said for years that our mind is way more powerful than what little we use it for. You believe that, then maybe creating things with your mind makes sense."

"He was a holistic, like Dirk and Bart. And Mona, apparently, I've never met Mona." Or if he has, he was unaware of it at the time.

"Wait, back up. So they're like a type of person?" She isn't sure what ti think about that, after the other way he said it.

"I guess so. Dirk says he's a holistic detective and Bart says she's a holistic assassin. I don't know if someone just taught them that word, or used it to try and explain what they did."

"I wonder if it means beyond what we know it to mean, you know?" Which makes sense. "Is this Dirk guy an alien?"

"Pretty sure he's not," Todd admits.

"Alien is not a bad thing. I mean, it was cool before this place, but this place..." She shakes her head. "Is it weird to you as well? How different people are?"

"It's super weird. Everything is weird. I'm just mostly resigned and taking up drinking again as a hobby."

That gets him a laugh, nodding. "Fair enough. I admit, it would probably drive me to drink too," she says. "What happens when you're part of it and you can do those things? You sure it won't happen?"

"I have no idea. I am making most of it up as I go along and hoping to not die."

A mug of steaming coffee appeared before her, a rich caramel color of cream and sugar, she leaned in, wrapping her hands around it as she leaned in, inhaling the scent. "Do you know that in your circumstances many people would have given up by now? You see it in studies all the time. Especially when faced with constant possibilities of life and death."

It may be true, or she may be baiting him to see his reaction.
