Cassandra Cillian || The Librarians
[ Hello, network of Wonderland! Have a sometimes-alarmingly chipper and hyper redhead. Her room is empty right now, but only because she doesn't yet realize that she'll be staying here for any length of time. She has a world to save, people! She's got places to go and books to read and theorums to play with. ]
Hi! I'm Cassandra! I'm... [ Her expression shifts. Not that she's lying. She isn't lying. This isn't a lying face. It's just a not-being-completely-honest face. ] New.
[ She looks to the left, and she waits for someone to call her out on it. No one does - not that she'd expected them to - and she keeps going. ] Anyway, I'm looking for some other people like me. Well, not like me. One of them is a guy about my height who has an Australian accent, mate. [ Yes, she did just attempt an Australian accent. Yes, it went poorly. ] And one of them is a guy who looks like a really moody linebacker. And there's one woman who's taller than I am and has blonde hair and looks like she could be a model. There might be another guy, too, who looks more like a cross between Indiana Jones and Milo from Atlantis. [ Her nose crinkles. ] Kind of acts like it, too, or would, if he weren't so self-absorbed so much of the time.
[ Her eyes flick to the camera lens as she realizes she just went off on a tangent and - oh yeah - people might be watching this. Flynn might be watching this. Cue an extra-large smile and a change of subject! ] Anyway!
We're from [ pause for effect ] the Library.
[ She looks utterly serious for almost three whole seconds before she starts moving again, leaning in to the comm. ] And Ezekiel, Jacob, Eve, Flynn? If you're here, tell me where you are.
[ She leans back and waves at the feed, smiling brightly. ] So if anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
[ Action - The Library ]
It takes Cassandra all of fifteen minutes to find the library. She runs inside, runs around as quickly (and quietly) as she can, whispering Jenkins' name, and then runs back into the hall.
"Don't panic," she tells herself. "It's fine. You're not alone. This is fine. You can still get back to the library." She turns back to the library, though not the one she wants at the moment. "I just need a door," she muses. "And a way to talk to Jenkins to get a door."
After a moment, she closes the doors to the library, closes her eyes, and then flings the door open as she pushes herself through.
Opening her eyes, she finds that she's still in the same library as before.
"Well," she says sourly. "That didn't work."

She points in its general direction. "Did you just-" She stops and looks at the bird suspiciously. "Has to be a speaker somewhere," she says at last. She peers more closely at the walls around her.

"Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo," she says. Because there's no way. No way.

Two seconds pass. One to confirm to herself that she heard right. The second to wonder if it was magic or science or why not both, and then the words fall from her mouth with barely any time for breath.
"Are you from someplace on Earth? Or from another Earth, because there aren't many talking birds around. I can't think of any, though I have met some dragons, and they talk. Where are you from? How do your jaw and tongue work to form words? Is it like a parrot?"

"I know they have oni..." She looks again at the bird, curious. "Are you- what are you?" Abruptly, she shakes her head. "Sorry. I'm being rude. I'm Cassandra. Hi!"

Nice to meet you, Cassandra. I'm Georgia. I'm afraid we're pretty far from whichever library you're referring to. There is a rather impressive one here, though.
video
But no! The person seems friendly enough! Well, not... smiley friendly. But friendly!
Cassandra smiles and waves. ] Hi, Georgia!
There's a library here, too? That's good. [ Maybe it'll have a way to get back to hers. ] Does it have any artifacts or... weird things of historical [ or magical ] importance?
video
Probably. It's a magic library, and yes, I realize how that sounds. [She scowls briefly. She's been here several months and she's still not used to magic being a thing she has to account for.] Things... aren't always where they're supposed to be and it changes shape and size. Frustrating as hell. But it has documents from lots of different universes.
video
[ She reconsiders for a moment. ] Not sure we actually have documents from different universes, but- Jenkins would know. [ She nods to herself, then looks back to Georgia. ]
Um. Where is the library?
video

He's somebody who works in the library. He keeps it organized, knows where everything is, does experiments, all that. He's [ saved all the librarians' lives so many times ] amazing.
[ It's a long shot, but she might as well ask. ] You... haven't seen or heard of him being around, have you? He's... older. Kind of... [ Can she say this? ] Crotchety.

But if Flynn comes, she really, really, really wants to see his face when he finds the head librarian here is a woman. She bets he'll try to take over, because he won't be able to help himself. ]
So... people come, but do they... [ She walks her fingers quickly through the air in front of her. ] Leave?

[ Cassandra beams at Georgia as she waits for an answer. Beam, beam, beam, smile, smile, smile.
Once she knows how to leave, she'll head home, tell everyone about her wacky adventure, and get back to the clippings book!
Smile smile smile. ]
