[ doc's hand shoots out to grab her wrist with the intent of stilling her movements. ]

Perhaps, but drawing attention to your weapon won't exactly being doing us any favors. [ he's carrying, too. let's not give the impression of being nothing more than gun crazy hooligans to the locals, hmm? ] And besides, Peacemaker only works in your hands. Unless they intend to display it like a trophy, that gun is useless to anyone but you.

[way to spoil her fun, doc. Maybe she wants to make a scene, that's effective sometimes.]

You and I know that and yet it hasn't stopped other people from being dumb enough to try to take it from me.

[ he leans back, peacemaker dangling from his fingers. he's got a fast hand, remember? ]

Hey!! [so much for not making a scene, wynonna is definitely climbing over the table now to grab it from him.

[ doc tucks wyatt's weapon into the inner pocket of his coat and ducks out of the chair before she can make a grab for him. he backs away casually towards the restrooms. ]

Now, now, Wynonna. I thought we agreed that you wouldn't be making any scenes. This bar doesn't really need your brand of christening.

[middlefinger]

[at least she trusts doc enough that she doesn't feel nervous about him having her gun, just annoyed. When he walks away Winnona leaps off the table to follow after him. Restrooms won't stop her, she's been there done that already ]

You also said that we shouldn't draw attention to my gun so clearly the rules don't apply anymore

Peacemaker and you, darlin'. Didn't realize I had to specify the exact parameters.

[ he's going to duck into the men's room, anyway, giving her a tip of his hat as he disappears behind the door. ]

Your parameters suck.

[great retort there wynonna, what are you, five? Anyway she's following him into the men's room all the same]

[ what parameters are we talking about here? no matter, he's going to duck into a stall and lock it. because apparently, he is also 165 going on 5. ]

Take your time I have all day [wynonna makes her way into the next stall but doesn't close it, if anyone else walks by she just waves. Nothing to see here boys]

[ doc sits there for a moment, before climbing on top of the bowl, brancing one foot on the toilet paper dispenser as he leans over the wall. he peers down at her sitting there. ]

If you're not going to use the facilities, then you should vacate them. There are likely men outside looking to use that toilet.

[middlefinger]

I could say the same to you. You're not exactly using the facilities yourself! [wynonna may be climbing up on the toliet herself. And then she grabs his hat from off his head and holds it menacingly over the water] Give me peacemaker or the hat gets it

Hey! [ —too late, she already has his hat.

doc glowers at her unhappily. first a demon eats his original hat, now wynonna's threatening to drown his wonderland replacement. ]

You wouldn't dare.

[middlefinger]

You know I would [wynonna lets it drop for a moment before catching it again ] what's it going up be Henry?

[wildwest]

[ she could and she would — will if he doesn't surrender, and he knows it. she knows that he knows it.

with a sigh, doc relents. he drops back down to the floor and exits his stall, waltzing into hers. he pulls out peacemaker and holds it out. ] Hat?

[ go back on your word and drop it, and you will live to regret it, earp. (nevermind the fact that he could simply have the closets conjure up another one. the thought doesn't occur to him.) ]

[She doesn't drop it anyway, though there's a time when she might have. She's trying to be a bigger person these days. She placed the hat on for him, pressing the rim of it forward to tip it for him as she takes the peacemaker with her other hand]

It's been a pleasure doing business with you sir [and with that she gets off the toliet and pushes past him to finally exit the bathroom.

shout out to the men who were waiting for the woman to leave to piss]

[ oh hell no, missy. you're not getting away that easily. ] Wynonna! [ he dashes out after her, grabbing her by the elbow once he does catch up with her. ]

And just where is it that you think you're headed in such a hurry?

Out of the men's room, to start with.

[she came to get her gun back, which she has, she doesn't plan on spending the rest of her night in here ]

[wildwest]

That much was made clear.

[ he still has ahold of her elbow. loosely, but enough not to let her go. as if she has somewhere to run in this godforsaken place that he wouldn't be able to find her. because if she's right about whoever's in charge here being interested in them, because they're them, then it's in their best interest to stay together. ]

But I was more referring to where you plan on going once you leave the bar. This ain't Purgatory.

[For all the baggage that comes with Purgatory for Wynonna it was at least familiar. She more or less knew what to expect. Here was unknown. Doc was the only familiar touchstone for her and while part of her wants to cling to that she also is still hurt by his recent across.

If doc was on Facebook their relationship status would be it's complicated]

I hadn't figured it out yet. I think we can just claim our own rooms.

Perhaps it would be prudent to go looking together.

[ for separate rooms, just in close proximity to one another. for revenant, covert black badge ops reasons, of course. ]

Are you sure that's wise? You might have to actually respond to me if you're close by.

[she can't help the jab -- she hates when he keeps secrets and hides from her and it's all too easy for her to hold a grudge.]

[ doc shoots her a look, a downright sour one, and gives her elbow a good tug, hauling her towards the bar's exit. ]

Did it ever occur to you that I might'a had a very good reason for ignoring you?

[wynonna looks thoroughly annoyed as he yanks her towards the exit.]

How would I know when you won't talk to me?

[she could probably give him more credit, to start with, but wynonna tends to take things very personally and she's already in a not great place these days.]
