Prompt A: Serious Event

A memory is displayed. It's yours, the most traumatic of your life whether it was a terrifying clown encounter or the death of someone you love. It's on a loop for everyone to see. You can enter the memory and take your own place, but no matter how hard you try, you cannot alter the outcome. You're forced to try in vain to change what happened or watch until you decide it's too much and walk away. If you can.

Prompt B: Lighter Event

Welcome to Storybrooke.

You've lived in a quiet town in Maine for as long as you can remember. You are a fishmonger or a diner employee, perhaps you work at the hospital. Whatever you do and whoever you are, it's not the real you. You are cursed and you know no other life outside of Storybrooke.

When the curse breaks (either from True Love's Kiss or, in a more TDM friendly, handwaved way), you have two sets of memories: who you were, and who you are. Do you choose to accept all that you were cursed to believe, or would you rather slip back into your old life? The choice is yours.

Prompt C: ediS rorriM

Use this prompt to test out your mirrors. Are they loyal to the new White Queen or do they think she's too good to be true? Do they long to cross over or spend their days tormenting reals? Whatever the scenario, know that the Queen is watching, and let that guide you - or not.

Any scenario goes! Thread out your character's arrival, have them act like a long-established resident, let our past events inspire your scene, or write up literally any Wonderland-based scenario you feel like playing with.

That gets a laugh out of Sadie. "It's the magical mystical closets for me," she admits. "I mean, it's a lot of trust letting people have anything they can imagine and fits through a closet door."

[great_assisting]

"Put like that..." It seems like a recipe for disaster. "Anything?"

[tragedygirls]

She nods at that. "I've tried it a bit. Electronics I can't hardly use here. Dishes I break. Weapons," she adds, knowing how bad that can be. "And anyone can do that. Anyone here."

[great_assisting]

"Yeah, I'm sort of surprised there hasn't been anyone going insane and slaughtering everyone."

[tragedygirls]

"Right?" She is wide eyed at that, nodding. "I keep wondering it too, and everyone keeps talking about how great it is, and how friendly they are to one another, and I'm like not even sure some days if it's even real."

[great_assisting]

"My landlord tried to kill me once." Dorian had been tweaked out of his head at the time, but Dirk had been there and the Dirk thing had happened and... "He accidentally shot himself."

Sadie's life has never exactly been normal, especially in the last year and a half. This guy though? He makes her seem like average, and she survived a high school massacre like out of a horror movie.

"Why'd he want you dead?"

[great_assisting]

"He was tweaking. And I might have stolen my rent back from him to buy Amanda's medication, but he'd already smashed up my car at that stage, so..."

[tragedygirls]

"Wait, you skipped that part. So he smashed up his car and you had to take care of your sister? Fair enough reason. How bad he shoot himself?" She isn't entirely perking up at that. Nope.

[great_assisting]

"It's... messy. Dorian was a tweaker, drug dealer and stuff. He was crazy and angry and tried to shoot me and accidentally shot himself instead. Stone dead, straight through the head."

And Todd had been taken for questioning. Again.

[tragedygirls]

"Right through... Holy shit, Man. That's crazy. In the head? How do you even do that?" She laughs at it, way amused by what had happened.

[great_assisting]

"Dirk."

It's the only answer he has. This shit happens around Dirk.

[tragedygirls]

She frowns then because odd she gets. Making a guy, even one tweaking, shoot himself in the head? That's something special entirely. Just not in the ways she thinks.

"What? Is he like magical or something?" Months ago she would have laughed at herself for asking that. Obviously that was before Wonderland.

[great_assisting]

"Or something. So. Dorian shoots the gun, it ricochets and hits him in the head. I find a dog, return it to the owner, who just happens to be the exact guy that Dirk has been looking for and I can take him there. Things just... happen."

[tragedygirls]

"So why isn't it just coincidence? I mean, people talk about things like that happening all the time, right?"

[great_assisting]

"Because it doesn't stop. That is every day, every car trip, every time with Dirk. The universe just sort of... flows around him, pulling him where it wants him and making sure everything lines up right for what it needs from him."

[tragedygirls]

Sitting back, Sadie frowns at what he's saying. Not sure what to think about it, but not able to help finding it curious. "Before I came to this place, I would mock myself for this but... is he like, I don't know, fae or a leprechaun?" She winces as she says it. "Also, are they the same? I don't even know. What mythological was all about luck? Think I mean that."

[great_assisting]

"I have no idea if fae or leprechaun are the same thing, but Dirk's not either. He's human, just... holistic."

It's not what holistic means. But it's the only word he has for it.

"And it's not luck. Well, not good luck. Dirk will survive and do what he needs to. Everyone else..." Was not necessarily so lucky.

[tragedygirls]

"Which is what they use for healing that is natural," she points out, not that she's sure it's right or not.

"Wait, but you keep being safe, right?" That's what she picked up, anyways.

[great_assisting]

Todd shrugs and taps the table, picking up the glass and downing the clear liquid in a single shot. "Not really. Not once I did what I had to to make the situation work."

[tragedygirls]

"Okay, you know if you say that I'm going to ask at this point right? This story is way cooler than most. Cooler than mine," she says. And to her it is. She's experienced her life, but things like this are really interesting because she'd never even imagined them before.

[great_assisting]

"I don't know how it works, or what the limits are, but there was a self enclosed and self fulfilling time loop which I had to be part of.

"I got electrocuted. A lot. And once the loop was closed, I lost my... plot immunity, I guess you'd call it."

[tragedygirls]

With that he slips further away from things that Sadie has actually experience with. It's one thing being a girl from a small town with a terrible past. Another being a major hand in that past.

This though. Beyond holistic which she can tell herself is natural because the name said so - even if that is dumb logic - time loops get into things she isn't even sure how to imagine this in relation to her life.

Trying to dismiss killing someone over and over again and what that could mean, and not trying to look so curious about that. Which isn't hard because of the rest.

"Wait, wait. Your what?"

[great_assisting]

"I was safe, because the universe needed me. When it didn't need me, it got less safe." He looks at his glass, which obligingly refills with clear liquid, which he also slams back.

She bites her lip, considering that as her foot is forgotten. "Okay, how does that mix with your meds?" Because she needs to know this. "But, honestly, that's fairly creepy sounding. More so than my world."
