Prompt A: Serious Event

A memory is displayed. It's yours, the most traumatic of your life whether it was a terrifying clown encounter or the death of someone you love. It's on a loop for everyone to see. You can enter the memory and take your own place, but no matter how hard you try, you cannot alter the outcome. You're forced to try in vain to change what happened or watch until you decide it's too much and walk away. If you can.

Prompt B: Lighter Event

Welcome to Storybrooke.

You've lived in a quiet town in Maine for as long as you can remember. You are a fishmonger or a diner employee, perhaps you work at the hospital. Whatever you do and whoever you are, it's not the real you. You are cursed and you know no other life outside of Storybrooke.

When the curse breaks (either from True Love's Kiss or, in a more TDM friendly, handwaved way), you have two sets of memories: who you were, and who you are. Do you choose to accept all that you were cursed to believe, or would you rather slip back into your old life? The choice is yours.

Prompt C: ediS rorriM

Use this prompt to test out your mirrors. Are they loyal to the new White Queen or do they think she's too good to be true? Do they long to cross over or spend their days tormenting reals? Whatever the scenario, know that the Queen is watching, and let that guide you - or not.

Prompt D: Choices

Any scenario goes! Thread out your character's arrival, have them act like a long-established resident, let our past events inspire your scene, or write up literally any Wonderland-based scenario you feel like playing with.

"He's not bad ass. He's a uncoordinated dork who blunders through life and the universe with no idea of what's going on. He's about as threatening as wet celery."

[tragedygirls]

"And yet he completely and utterly changed your life, right?" She moves to settle in at a table.

[great_assisting]

"Yes. Me. My life. All of it. He makes me a better person." Makes him want to be a better person. He sits down opposite her, slouching into the chair.

[tragedygirls]

"Then he's the best threat of all. The one that gets us back to who we truly are," she pointed out. "McKayla did it for me when I let myself believe I wasn't truly me."

[great_assisting]

"I have never been the person that he's helped me to become." Not in his mind, not at all.

[tragedygirls]

Her head cants, considering him. "Would he think that?"

[great_assisting]

"No idea. Maybe not. He might just get distracted by a magazine cover instead."

[tragedygirls]

She can't help herself. Maybe it shouldn't be funny but she laughs at that. "I guess that's fair enough. So I guess you're here. Be the man you want to be here?"

[great_assisting]

It's a bit funny.

"Mm. We'll see. I suspect I'm going to slip back into old ways of being an asshole."

[tragedygirls]

That is something to consider. "I guess that's your call, you know? What do you want to be."

[great_assisting]

"Mm." Todd's going to think on it. He doesn't have answers right now.

[tragedygirls]

She gives him a look, considering him for a long moment before she smirks. "I don't want to change who I am either," she admits.

[great_assisting]

Todd doesn't reply to that or the smirk. He knows what it is that worries him. It's not about want. He's not sure he can do this without someone reminding him, keeping him from slipping to old habits.

Sadie considers what she wants, and the food appears before her. She pokes at it with one finger. "I still need to get used to this."

[great_assisting]

"I will never get used to this," Todd promises.

[tragedygirls]

That gets a laugh out of Sadie. "It's the magical mystical closets for me," she admits. "I mean, it's a lot of trust letting people have anything they can imagine and fits through a closet door."

[great_assisting]

"Put like that..." It seems like a recipe for disaster. "Anything?"

[tragedygirls]

She nods at that. "I've tried it a bit. Electronics I can't hardly use here. Dishes I break. Weapons," she adds, knowing how bad that can be. "And anyone can do that. Anyone here."

[great_assisting]

"Yeah, I'm sort of surprised there hasn't been anyone going insane and slaughtering everyone."

[tragedygirls]

"Right?" She is wide eyed at that, nodding. "I keep wondering it too, and everyone keeps talking about how great it is, and how friendly they are to one another, and I'm like not even sure some days if it's even real."

[great_assisting]

"My landlord tried to kill me once." Dorian had been tweaked out of his head at the time, but Dirk had been there and the Dirk thing had happened and... "He accidentally shot himself."

[tragedygirls]

Sadie's life has never exactly been normal, especially in the last year and a half. This guy though? He makes her seem like average, and she survived a high school massacre like out of a horror movie.

"Why'd he want you dead?"

[great_assisting]

"He was tweaking. And I might have stolen my rent back from him to buy Amanda's medication, but he'd already smashed up my car at that stage, so..."

[tragedygirls]

"Wait, you skipped that part. So he smashed up his car and you had to take care of your sister? Fair enough reason. How bad he shoot himself?" She isn't entirely perking up at that. Nope.

[great_assisting]

"It's... messy. Dorian was a tweaker, drug dealer and stuff. He was crazy and angry and tried to shoot me and accidentally shot himself instead. Stone dead, straight through the head."

And Todd had been taken for questioning. Again.
